Miss Grand United Kingdom 2023 is Chloe Ellman-Baker


Chloe Ellman-Baker was crowned Miss Grand United Kingdom 2023 in a national competition held on Sunday, August 13 at Aures London.

The 23-year-old beauty from Sussex is a marketing manager and promotional model who holds a degree in interior architecture and design from the University of Portsmouth. She will represent the United Kingdom at Miss Grand International 2023 in Vietnam this October.

Candy Paasche was named first runner-up while Annette Alder, Brooke Smith, and Emily Cossey were announced as the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively.

Last year's winner who placed in the Top 20 and bagged the Best in National Costume award at Miss Grand International 2022, Sofia Mayers, crowned her successor at the end of the event.

"It's an incredible honour to represent the UK and stand alongside such remarkable women in this sisterhood," shared the new Miss Grand United Kingdom on social media.

"To all the wonderful souls from around the globe who've cheered me on, your love and encouragement mean the world to me. I promise to carry your energy and pride with me as I prepare to take on the international stage."

Miss Universe Venezuela 2025 is Clara Vegas of Miranda

Clara Vegas triumphed over 21 other contestants to win the title of Miss Universe Venezuela 2025 on Thursday, December 4 in Caracas. The 23-year-old model and actress from Miranda will represent Venezuela at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant to be held in Puerto Rico. Maria Evangelista Alayon of Amazonas was named first runner-up while Milena Paola Soto of Mérida, Gabriela de la Cruz of Yaracuy, and Gabriela Villegas of Monagas were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. The highly anticipated official presentation of the 24 contestants vying for Miss Venezuela 2022 took place on Saturday, November 10 in Caracas. Hosted by "Súper Sábado Sensacional" presenter Henrys Silva, the special show aired on Venevisión with simultaneous live streaming on missvenezuela.tv . 70th Miss Universe contestants tour Jerusalem old city in Israel

Despite imposing travel restrictions due to the Omicron coronavirus variant, Israel's hosting of the 70th Miss Universe pageant is pushing through. The contestants were taken to a tour of Jerusalem's old city on Tuesday, November 30 in their sneakers, pantsuits, and cocktail dresses. They visited some notable landmarks in the city such as the Tower of David Museum and Jerusalem Botanical Gardens. Their final itinerary of the day was a tea party at King David Hotel where they met with important persons such as Mayor Moshe Lion, local female politicians, and heads of organizations that fight poverty and violence against women. Over 70 beauties are expected to continue their journey to the Miss Universe crown in Eilat next week where they will go through a series of pre-pageant activities and preliminary competitions prior to the final on December 12. The final group of national finalists for Miss Universe Australia 2024 was revealed during the South Australia state final on Monday, April 8 at Feathers Hotel in Burnside. Three beauties have been selected to represent South Australia at the national competition in August. They are Courtney Spear, Olivija Spanovskis, and Belinda Lesi. Chiara Wijntuin was crowned Miss Suriname 2025 in a national competition held on Saturday, November 2 at the Assuria Event Center in Paramaribo. The 21-year-old student bested 14 other contestants to win the title and she is now expected to represent Suriname at Miss Universe 2025. Kyran Rampersad and Kimberly Kersting were announced as the first and second runners-up, respectively. Suriname has officially returned to the Miss Universe pageant this year with Pooja Chotkan who was appointed Miss Universe Suriname 2024 in August. Hinaupoko Devèze from Tahiti was crowned Miss France 2026 on Saturday, December 6 at the Zénith d'Amiens in Amiens, Hauts-de-France. The 23-year-old model bested 29 other contestants to win the prestigious national pageant. She succeeds Angélique Angarni-Filopon from Martinique.
