Miss Minnesota USA 2023 is Sarah Anderson of Maple Grove


Sarah Anderson was crowned Miss Minnesota USA 2023 in a glittering state competition held on Sunday, July 30 at the Ames Center in Burnsville.

The 20-year-old model representing Maple Grove bested more than 30 other competitors to win the state title. She succeeds last year's winner Madeline Helget (Miss USA 2022 Top 12) and will now prepare to represent her home state at Miss USA 2023.

"Wow, the last 24 hours have been a whirlwind. Last night was so incredible and one I will never forget. I am so thrilled to be representing our amazing state at Miss USA as your new Miss Minnesota USA 2023," Sarah shared online after the pageant.

Samantha Mangseth Akins of Grand Rapids was named first runner-up while Cara Rgnonti of Mendota Heights, Elle Gilbert of Apple Valley, and Kala Schmidt of Eden Prairie finished as the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively.

For Miss Minnesota Teen USA 2023, 18 contestants competed for the title that eventually went to Saint Paul's Mikhala Rivers who will now proceed to Miss Teen USA 2023. She was crowned by outgoing titleholder Ava Ernst.

The teen's runners-up were Lillie Imm, of Stillwater, Estella Howard of Chisago City, Grace Stahl of Minnetonka, and Lily Jacques of Winona.

Miss Universe Paraguay 2026 is Gretha Matiauda

Former Miss Earth Paraguay Gretha Matiauda has recently been appointed as her country's official representative in the Miss Universe 2026 pageant. The 24-year-old beauty from Asunción is an economist, international model and entrepreneur. She succeeds last year's titleholder Yanina Gómez who made the Top 30 at Miss Universe 2025. Vietnam to host the 73rd Miss World competition this summer

Vietnam, the land of the "Ascending Dragon", has been revealed as the official host country of the 73rd Miss World (Miss World 2026) competition. The official announcement was made during the Miss World Vietnam final on March 29 by Miss World CEO and Chairperson Julia Morley CBE and representatives of Sen Vàng, the local organizers and co-producers of the event. Phan Phuong Oanh was proclaimed the winner of the Miss World Vietnam 2025 pageant held on Sunday, March 29 in Ho Chi Minh City. Miss Universe 2025, the 74th Miss Universe competition is set to take place on Friday, November 21 at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand. Reigning Miss Universe Victoria Kjær Theilvig from Denmark will hand over her crown to her successor at the conclusion of the event. Fatima Bosch was crowned Miss Universe Mexico 2025 on Saturday, September 13 at Sala Placido Domingo (Conjunto Santander de Artes Escénicas) in Zapopan, Jalisco. The 24-year-old designer from Teapa, Tabasco triumphed over 30 other contestants to win the coveted national title. She will represent Mexico at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. Miss Universe Japan 2025 is Kaori Hashimoto from Tochigi Prefecture

Kaori Hashimoto was crowned Miss Universe Japan 2025 in a national competition held on Wednesday, July 16 in Shibuya. The 21-year-old business administration student from Tochigi Prefecture beat over 40 other contestants to win the national title. Saki Fujita and Reina Ishii were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Chiemi Takayama and Naomi Monique Kamidate were the rest of the Top 5 finalists. Miss Turkey 2024: Idil Bilgen wins Miss Turkey World 2024

Idil Bilgen was crowned Miss Turkey World 2024 during the Miss Turkey 2024 national final on Wednesday, September 11 at the Lazzoni Hotel in Istanbul. The 24-year-old medical doctor bested 19 other competitors to win the national title. She will prepare to represent Türkiye at the 72nd Miss World whose date and venue have yet to be announced. Cemre Üker clinched the Miss Turkey Supranational 2024 crown and will head to Poland to compete in Miss Supranational 2025 next summer.
