Miss International Canada 2023 is Melanie Renaud


Melanie Renaud bested 17 other competitors to be crowned Miss International Canada 2023 on Saturday, September 9 at the Capitol Theatre in Windsor, Ontario.

The 26-year-old digital journalism and communications graduate of the University of Windsor will now prepare to represent Canada in the upcoming Miss International 2023 in Tokyo, Japan.

Jessica Bailey and Aslihan Morali were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Anmol Dosanjh, Arsh Thind, Kim Do, Maria Jose Acosta, and Svetlana Mamaeva were the rest of the Top 8 finalists.

Last year's winner who placed in the Top 8 at Miss International 2022, Madison Kvaltin, was recently crowned Miss Universe Canada and will soon compete in El Salvador for Miss Universe 2023.

The new Miss International Canada was the second runner-up at Miss Universe Canada 2023 where she also bagged the Queenly Spokesmodel and Miss Photogenic awards.

Melanie is a marketing strategist, model, stylist, writer, mentor, and philanthropist. As a Global Ambassador and spokesperson for the Starkey Hearing Foundation, she proudly worked alongside Delta Zeta National to raise funds for the foundation and traveled with a team to Guatemala to provide hearing aids and hearing care to over 800 people.

Having a younger brother on the autism spectrum, she is also an advocate for autism awareness and her aim is to educate and promote inclusivity and acceptance for everyone with a developmental disability.

In addition, she is passionate about empowering young people with the tools and resources to develop confidence and leadership skills. She hopes to inspire young women to be confident in themselves and thrive as leaders in their communities.

Miss Universe Myanmar 2026 is May Grace Parry

Miss Hpa-An, May Grace Parry, was crowned Miss Universe Myanmar 2026 on Wednesday, June 17 at the Hexagon Complex in Yangon. The 31-year-old Australian-Burmese model and actress edged out over 30 other contestants to win the national title. She succeeds last year's winner Myat Yadanar Soe. Han Theint Theint Aung of Taungoo and Kyaw Kyaw Eaindra of Yangon West were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. Former Miss Universe Natalie Glebova and Miss Universe 2025 third runner-up Ahtisa Manalo from the Philippines were among the judges. Miss Universe Ireland 2026 is Aideen Howard from Limerick

Aideen Howard beat over 20 other contestants to win Miss Universe Ireland 2026 on Saturday, June 20 at the Bonnington Hotel in Dublin. The 22-year-old model and student from Castletroy, Limerick, was crowned by her predecessor Aadya Srivastava from Galway. She will now prepare to represent Ireland at Miss Universe 2026 in Puerto Rico this November. Leah Sheehan, also from Limerick, and Eileen Coyle from Derry were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. Originally from Boston, the new Miss Universe Ireland moved to Limerick at age 12. Mia Zottoli Montanaro was proclaimed the winner of Miss Mondo Italia 2026 (Miss World Italy) last Sunday, June 14 at the Ecoresort Le Sirenè in Gallipoli. The 21-year-old model and former volleyball player of Argentine descent from Taranto, Puglia was crowned by her predecessor Sofia Viola. Basma Zaid of Basilicata and Azzura Sandrini of Lombardia were announced the first and second runners-up, respectively. Antea Mršić edged out 14 other contestants to win Miss Universe Croatia 2026 on Monday, May 25 at Esplanade Hotel in Zagreb. The 24-year-old sports management graduate from Zagreb will now prepare to represent Croatia at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant in Puerto Rico this November. Monika Vojvodić was named first runner-up while Laura Vujica, Magdalena Fofić and Beata Šimat were the second, third and fourth runners-up, respectively. Vida Milivojša was crowned Miss Slovenije 2022 (Miss Slovenia) on Sunday, September 4 in the beautiful municipality of Braslovče. The 23-year-old beauty from Ljubljana bested 15 other finalists to win her national title. She is a dancer and student pursuing a degree in marketing communication and public relations. Hana Klaut, 26, and Talita Sofija Komelj, 22, were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. Bea Millan-Windorski of La Union was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2026 during the final of the national pageant on Saturday, May 2 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. The 24-year-old Filipino-American beauty succeeded Maria Ahtisa Manalo from Quezon Province. She will represent the Philippines at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant, which is set to take place in Puerto Rico later this year. Luren Márquez was crowned Miss Peru 2026 (Miss Universe Peru) in a special ceremony held on Wednesday, April 15 at the Teatro Municipal del Callao. The 27-year-old television presenter and model received the crown from her predecessor Karla Bacigalupo with the presence of the reigning Miss Universe Fátima Bosch from Mexico.
