Miss Midi-Pyrénées 2023 is Nadine Benaboud for Miss France 2024


Miss Gers, Nadine Benaboud was crowned Miss Midi-Pyrénées 2023 on Saturday, September 2 at the Château de la Garrigue in Villemur-sur-Tarn.

The 22-year-old customer service representative, of Morrocan descent, succeeds last year's winner Florence Demortier, and will now represent the French region of Midi-Pyrénées at Miss France 2024 later this year.

Blandine Abad was named first runner-up while Karen Traoré, Satyne Gomes, and Amélie Cuvellier were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively.

No stranger to pageantry, the new Miss Midi-Pyrénées was previously elected Miss Hautes-Pyrénées and went on to place second runner-up when she joined the regional pageant in 2021.

The 94th Miss France will take place on December 16 at the Zénith de Dijon in Dijon. Indira Ampiot of Guadeloupe will crown her successor at the end of the event.

Miss Hawaii USA 2023 is Savannah Gankiewicz

Miss Wailea Savannah Gankiewicz was crowned Miss Hawaii USA 2023 in a state competition held on Sunday, January 15 at the Hawaii Convention Center in Honolulu. The 27-year-old model of Filipino, Vietnamese and Polish descent from Maui was also awarded Miss Photogenic. She will now represent Hawaii at the Miss USA 2023 pageant in Reno, Nevada later this year. Kawena Kan-Hai, Breea Yamat, Mikayla Baptista, and Ronelle Valera were announced as the first, second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Last year's titleholder who competed in Miss USA 2022 last October, Kiana Yamat, passed the crown to her successor at the end of the event. Alejandra Rodríguez, 60, crowned Miss Universe Buenos Aires 2024

Alejandra Rodríguez was crowned Miss Universe Buenos Aires 2024 in a competition held on Sunday, April 21 at Corregidor Hotel in La Plata. The 60-year-old lawyer and journalist bested more than 30 other contestants to win the title. She will now prepare to represent Buenos Aires at Miss Universe Argentina 2024. To recall, the Miss Universe Organization removed the age limit requirement last year so now anyone from the age of 18 can join the pageant and this applies to all its national franchises. Hawaii's Savannah Gankiewicz becomes the new Miss USA

The Miss USA organization has just announced Savannah Gankiewicz of Hawaii as the new Miss USA following the resignation of Noelia Voigt. According to the official announcement, Savannah will be crowned in her home state of Hawaii in a special coronation ceremony next Wednesday, May 15. The new Miss USA was crowned  Miss Hawaii USA in January last year and went on to participate in Miss USA 2023 in Reno, Nevada last September. She finished as first runner-up. Savannah is of Filipino, Vietnamese, and Polish descent born and raised in Kihei on the island of Maui. She is a model, entrepreneur, and self-love advocate. "My decision to accept the Miss USA crown was not one that was made lightly. I stand with Noelia and admire her strength to step down and prioritize her mental health," she wrote in an official statement. Samantha Poole bested 11 other finalists to be crowned Miss New Zealand 2024 (Miss International New Zealand 2024) on Sunday, May 5 at Bruce Mason Centre in Takapuna Beach. The 21-year-old model and digital design graduate of Auckland University of Technology will represent New Zealand at Miss International 2024 in Tokyo, Japan later this year. After the shocking resignation of Miss USA 2023 Noelia Voigt, Miss Teen USA 2023 UmaSofia Srivastava has also announced her decision to relinquish her title. In a statement on social media, she wrote: "After careful consideration, I've decided to resign as I find that my personal values no longer fully align with the direction of the organization." The Miss Czech Republic 2024 concluded on Saturday, May 11 with Adéla Štroffeková winning the national title from a field of 10 finalists. The 21-year-old model from Prague, who was also named Miss World Czech Republic 2024, received her crown from reigning Miss World Krystyna Pyszková.
