Madeleine Malmberg to represent Norway at Miss International 2023


Miss Norway 2023 (Miss Universe Norway 2023) fourth runner-up Madeleine Malmberg has been officially appointed as Miss International Norway 2023.

The 19-year-old high school student from Fredrikstad is now preparing to compete in Miss International 2023 in Japan this October. She succeeds last year's titleholder, Romée Dahlen.

Apart from her studies, Madeleine is also a model, aspiring actress, and children's rights advocate.

Her advocacy is focused on education especially for underprivileged children as she believes it will help them from becoming potential victims of human trafficking.

"An enlightened younger generation will be better equipped to recognize dangers, stand up for themselves and others, and resist the temptations that could lead them into a perilous world," written on her official website.

Norway has won the Japan-based Miss International pageant twice with former model Catherine Gude in 1988 and actress Anne Lena Hansen in 1995.

Miss World Italy 2026 is Mia Zottoli Montanaro from Puglia

Mia Zottoli Montanaro was proclaimed the winner of Miss Mondo Italia 2026 (Miss World Italy) last Sunday, June 14 at the Ecoresort Le Sirenè in Gallipoli. The 21-year-old model and former volleyball player of Argentine descent from Taranto, Puglia was crowned by her predecessor Sofia Viola. Basma Zaid of Basilicata and Azzura Sandrini of Lombardia were announced the first and second runners-up, respectively. Caterina Noghera of Veneto, Lara Boemio of Toscana, and Ginevra Pagano of Campania rounded out the Top 6 finalists. Miss Norway 2025 is Leonora Lysglimt-Rødland from Oslo

Leonora Lysglimt-Rødland was crowned Miss Norway 2025 (Miss Universe Norway 2025) in a national competition held on Saturday, August 30 at Gateway Studios in Fornebu. Athenna Crosby of California bested over 40 other contestants to win the Miss World America 2024 pageant on Sunday, November 17 in Seattle, Washington. The 26-year-old American-Venezuelan model and actress succeeds last year's winner Victoria DiSorbo and will now prepare to represent the United States of America at the 72nd Miss World. Miss Ukraine 2023 is Sofia Shamia, meet the winners

The three winners of Miss Ukraine 2023 who will represent Ukraine in international pageants were officially announced on Monday, September 25 through social media. Sofia Shamia, an 18-year-old student from the Kyiv region was named Miss Ukraine 2023 (Miss World Ukraine 2023) and will compete in Miss World 2023 in India on December 16.
