Madeleine Malmberg to represent Norway at Miss International 2023


Miss Norway 2023 (Miss Universe Norway 2023) fourth runner-up Madeleine Malmberg has been officially appointed as Miss International Norway 2023.

The 19-year-old high school student from Fredrikstad is now preparing to compete in Miss International 2023 in Japan this October. She succeeds last year's titleholder, Rom茅e Dahlen.

Apart from her studies, Madeleine is also a model, aspiring actress, and children's rights advocate.

Her advocacy is focused on education especially for underprivileged children as she believes it will help them from becoming potential victims of human trafficking.

"An enlightened younger generation will be better equipped to recognize dangers, stand up for themselves and others, and resist the temptations that could lead them into a perilous world," written on her official website.

Norway has won the Japan-based Miss International pageant twice with former model Catherine Gude in 1988 and actress Anne Lena Hansen in 1995.

The coronation ball for The Miss Philippines 2026 took place on Sunday, May 10, at the Grand Ballroom in City of Dreams Manila. Miss Universe C么te d'Ivoire 2025 Olivia Yac茅 has officially announced on Monday, November 24 her resignation as Miss Universe Africa and Oceania. "As the representative of C么te d'Ivoire at the Miss Universe 2025 competition in Bangkok, i witnessed firsthand that i was capable of accomplishing great things despite adversity," Olivia wrote on social media. Nadia Mejia-Webb, representing Comunidad USA, was crowned Miss Universe Ecuador 2025 in a national competition held on Saturday, July 26 at Palacio de Cristal in Guayaquil. The 29-year-old model and singer will now prepare to represent Ecuador at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. After 17 years, former Miss France Sylvie Tellier has officially announced her departure from the Miss France organization. The 44-year-old took to social media on Wednesday, August 31 to make a public statement on her decision to leave, which was made "with a lot of emotion because you don't leave a company after 17 years without memories in your head." The spectacular Miss Universe Philippines 2026 national costume competition took place on Thursday, April 16 at the Urdaneta City Cultural and Sports Center in Pangasinan. This year's show, themed Water, was hosted by the reigning Miss Eco Philippines, Gabbi Carballo. The contestants took to the stage, displaying Filipino artistry through their colorful costumes. Bea Millan-Windorski of La Union was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2026 during the final of the national pageant on Saturday, May 2 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
