Catriona Gray's wax figure moves to Madame Tussauds Hong Kong


Fresh from her trip to Thailand for the Institution of HIV Research and Innovation Thailand (IHRI), former Miss Universe Catriona Gray went to visit her wax figure at Madame Tussauds Hong Kong.

Launched last year in Singapore, it has now moved to Hong Kong and joined other Filipino pride Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach and one of the greatest professional boxers of all time Manny "Pacman" Pacquaio.

To recall, it was the first and only Filipino wax figure to be featured in Madame Tussauds Singapore. Its official launch was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

It is wearing a copy of the iconic Mayon volcano-inspired lava gown created by Filipino fashion designer Mak Tumang and a Philippines sash for Miss Universe 2018 which was held in Bangkok.

"My twin is turning out to be a world traveler (just like me) with her second stop: HONG KONG," Catriona shared on social media.

"I just want to give a big, special shout out to the MT HK team, who had to adjust the event to a day earlier due to the typhoon that arrived on Sept 1. And also to the fans who adjusted too and traveled all the way to be a part of the event. Some even flew into HK."

Miss World Thailand 2025 is Opal Suchata Chuangsri

Opal Suchata Chuangsri was officially proclaimed Miss World Thailand 2025 in a special press presentation held on Tuesday, April 22 in Bangkok. The 22-year-old political science major at Thammasat University will represent Thailand at Miss World 2025 in Hyderabad ( Telangana), India this May. No stranger to pageantry, Opal was previously crowned Miss Universe Thailand and went to Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico where she finished as the third runner-up. Miss Universe Zambia 2025 is Kunda Mwamulima

Kunda Mwamulima was crowned Miss Universe Zambia 2025 on Saturday, April 20 at the Mulungushi International Conference Centre (MICC) in Lusaka. The 29-year-old registered nurse and model will now prepare to represent Zambia at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this November. No stranger to pageantry, Kunda is a former Miss Earth Zambia titleholder who competed in Miss Earth 2023 in Vietnam. Señorita Panama org appoints Mirna Caballini for Miss Universe 2025

Mirna Alejandra Caballini Bouche has been revealed by the Señorita Panama organization as official representative of Panama for Miss Universe 2025. The 22-year-old professional model, singer, theater actress and fashion designer will head to Thailand to compete in the 74th Miss Universe pageant this November. No stranger to pageantry, Mirna previously represented Chiriquí at the Miss Universe Panama 2024 competition and finished as the second runner-up.
