Catriona Gray's wax figure moves to Madame Tussauds Hong Kong

Fresh from her trip to Thailand for the Institution of HIV Research and Innovation Thailand (IHRI), former Miss Universe Catriona Gray went to visit her wax figure at Madame Tussauds Hong Kong. Launched last year in Singapore, it has now moved to Hong Kong and joined other Filipino pride Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach and one of the greatest professional boxers of all time Manny "Pacman" Pacquaio. To recall, it was the first and only Filipino wax figure to be featured in Madame Tussauds Singapore. Its official launch was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray has just announced her engagement to Filipino-American actor and musician Sam Milby. The former beauty queen turned singer and TV personality went to social media on Thursday, February 16 to share the news. She wrote in her caption, "Living in an answered prayer with my best friend. I love you, fiancè." Several of her Miss Universe queen sisters such as Pia Wurtzbach, Harnaaz Sandhu, Demi-Leigh Tebow, and Natalie Glebova sent their congratulatory messages and well wishes in the comment section. Former Miss Universe Catriona Gray reunited with Ne-Yo during the Grammy award-winning singer and songwriter's "Live in Concert" tour in Manila. Back in 2018, when Catriona won Miss Universe in Bangkok, Thailand, Ne-Yo was the special guest performer. Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray from the Philippines has been officially announced as a special guest judge for the upcoming Miss Universe Vietnam 2022 pageant. The former beauty queen will join fellow Miss Universe titleholder Natalie Glebova of Canada in the judging panel to select Vietnam's representative for Miss Universe 2022. Vietnamese pageant fans could not contain their excitement over Catriona's first official visit to the country almost four years after winning Miss Universe with her iconic "lava walk" and "slow-mo turn" in Bangkok, Thailand. After 3 years, Catriona Gray's wax figure was finally unveiled at Madame Tussauds wax museum at the Imbiah Lookout of Sentosa Island in Singapore on Wednesday, March 30. During the launching of the first and so far the only Filipino wax figure to be featured in the Singapore museum, the former Miss Universe looked stunning in a metal assemblage dress by Jaggy Glarino. "I'm so honored and flattered to be the only Filipino wax figure here in MT Singapore," Catriona shared on social media. Filipino fashion designer Mak Tumang created a replica of the iconic Miss Universe lava gown for the figure with only small differences on the neckline to hide the seams where the head of the wax figure fit onto the body.
