R'Bonney Gabriel graces 2023 Hult Prize Global Finals in Paris


Reigning Miss Universe R'Bonney Gabriel attended as the keynote speaker for the OnCampus Awards of Hult Prize Global Finals 2023 held on Friday, September 22 in Paris, France.

Named after Bertil Hult, the Hult Prize (often referred to as the Nobel Prize for students) is an annual competition to challenge young people around the world to solve the planet's most pressing issues through social entrepreneurship.

Former US President Bill Clinton selects and announces the challenge topic each year and the winner receives a startup prize worth $1 million. This year's challenge "Redesigning Fashion" was to create a for-profit social venture in the fashion or clothing industry.

R'Bonney, a fashion designer and sustainability advocate, took the stage to inspire the nominees in her speech. She also announced the Hult Prize World Program of the Year, which was awarded to Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM).

Tonight, the inaugural edition of the Miss Cosmo pageant will take place at the Saigon Riverside Park in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Miss Universe 2024: Meet the contestants

Miss Universe 2024, the 73rd Miss Universe pageant will be held on November 16 at the the Arena CDMX in Mexico City, Mexico. The country known for its rich culture, ancient ruins, dazzling beaches, and incredible cuisine has been chosen to host the competition for the fifth time after 1978, 1989, 1993, and 2007. A total of 114 national queens have been crowned up to this point and are all set to compete in this year's highly anticipated beauty pageant. Daumier Corilla of the Philippines was proclaimed Mister Global 2024 on Sunday, October 6 at MCC Hall of The Mall Lifestore Bangkapi in Bangkok, Thailand. The 28-year-old model, actor, and host bested over 30 other contestants to become the first-ever Filipino winner of the international male pageant. Valeria Vasilieva was crowned Miss Universe Estonia 2024 in a glittering national competition held on Tuesday, October 1 in Tallinn. After a 23-year hiatus, Hong Kong is set to return to the Miss Universe stage this year with Miss Universe Hong Kong 2024 Joanne Rhodes. The 24-year-old art advisor and model edged out 15 other finalists to win the competition on September 26 at the Go Park Sai Sha. Aside from the crown, she also bagged the Fan Favorite and Miss Photogenic awards. Yan Kiu and Juliette Louie were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. The 23-year-old actress, dancer, and model from Rishon LeZion will now prepare to represent Israel at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant in Mexico this November.
