Miss World Netherlands 2023 is Jane Shauny Knoester


Jane Shauny Knoester was crowned Miss World Nederland 2023 (Miss World Netherlands 2023) on Tuesday, October 24 at the De Koning Party & Events in Amsterdam.

The 18-year-old figure skater from The Hague bested 11 other finalists to win the national title. She succeeds last year's winner Amber Koelewijn.

Buket Bengisu Ünal, 20, from Rotterdam, and Cheyenne den Dikkenboer, 25, from Schiedam, were announced as first and second runners-up, respectively.

The new Miss World Netherlands is expected to represent her country in the 72nd Miss World pageant.

Philippines wins second Miss Supranational crown

The 17th Miss Supranational beauty pageant was held on Friday, July 31 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Poland. Katrina Llegado, a 28-year-old financial management graduate from the Philippines, was crowned Miss Supranational 2026 by her predecessor Eduarda Braum of Brazil. She bested over 60 other contestants to win her country's second Miss Supranational crown after Miss Supranational 2013 Mutya Datul. Eve Gilles of France was named first runner-up while Lara Marina of Brazil, Ndah Eno of Nigeria, and Karolína Gorylová of the Czech Republic were announced the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Pastry chef and model Swann Lavigne from France was proclaimed Mister Supranational 2025 on Saturday, June 28 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Poland. The 25-year-old bested 37 other contestants to win the international male pageant. He succeeds last year's winner Fezile Mkhize from South Africa. Mia Zottoli Montanaro was proclaimed the winner of Miss Mondo Italia 2026 (Miss World Italy) last Sunday, June 14 at the Ecoresort Le Sirenè in Gallipoli.
