Miss International 2024 will be held on November 12 in Tokyo


The Miss International 2024 competition has been announced to be held on November 12 in Tokyo, Japan.

This year's pageant will mark the 62nd edition of the Japan-based international beauty pageant.

Tokyo first hosted Miss International in 1968 after being held in the USA since its inauguration in 1960.

The pageant has already been held in the Japanese capital numerous times including last year's remarkable show.

As of today, a few national winners have been crowned so far and further details including the final venue have yet to be officially revealed.

The reigning Miss International is Venezuela's Andrea Rubio who was crowned last October at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Shibuya.

Former Miss World France Ophély Mézino was crowned Miss Universe Guadeloupe 2025 in a special coronation ceremony held on Saturday, July 12. The 26-year-old model succeeds last year's titleholder Coraly Desplan and will now prepare to represent Guadeloupe at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this November. Lao-Kiwi Abbigail Sturgin was crowned Miss Universe New Zealand 2025 on Tuesday, June 24 at the SkyCity Theatre in Auckland. The 28-year-old police officer succeeds last year's winner Victoria Velasquez Vincent and will represent New Zealand at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. The 24-year-old model will now prepare to represent Guatemala at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. She succeeds last year's winner Ana Gabriela Villanueva.
