Kenza Ameloot crowned Miss Belgium 2024


Kenza Ameloot was crowned Miss Belgium 2024 in a national competition held last February 24 at the Proximus Theater (formerly Plopsa Theater) in De Panne.

The 22-year-old international business student from Ghent bested over 30 other contestants to win the national title. She succeeds last year's winner, Miss Belgium 2023 Emilie Vansteenkiste.

Estelle Toulemonde and Julie Mortier were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Arwen Van Gucht, Parnian Robatsarpooshi, and Marie Rousseaux rounded out the Top 5 finalists.

The new Miss Belgium is expected to represent her country at the 73rd Miss Universe (Miss Universe 2024) pageant in Mexico this November.

Miss Universe 2024, the 73rd Miss Universe pageant will be held on November 16 at the the Arena CDMX in Mexico City, Mexico. The country known for its rich culture, ancient ruins, dazzling beaches, and incredible cuisine has been chosen to host the competition for the fifth time after 1978, 1989, 1993, and 2007. The 28-year-old model, actor, and host bested over 30 other contestants to become the first-ever Filipino winner of the international male pageant. After a 23-year hiatus, Hong Kong is set to return to the Miss Universe stage this year with Miss Universe Hong Kong 2024 Joanne Rhodes. The 24-year-old art advisor and model edged out 15 other finalists to win the competition on September 26 at the Go Park Sai Sha.
