Miss Supranational Mexico 2024 is Andrea Sáenz from Chihuahua


Former Miss United Continents winner, Yamil Andrea Sáenz Castillo, has been officially appointed as Miss Supranational Mexico 2024.

Hailing Cuauhtémoc, Chihuahua, the 26-year-old lawyer and model is a graduate of Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua.

She also holds a master's degree in human resources and currently working in the legal department at UACH, where she carries out her social work and advocacy for women.

No stranger to pageantry, Andrea has previously participated in Miss Mexico 2018 in the city of Hermosillo, Sonora, while representing the state of Chihuahua.

Shortly after the national pageant, she was named Miss Mexico United Continents and went to Miss United Continents 2018 in Ecuador where she won the title.

Andrea will now prepare to represent her country at Miss Supranational 2024 this July in Poland.

Her predecessor, Miss Supranational Mexico 2023 Vanessa López, placed in the Top 12 at last year's Miss Supranational competition.

Alejandra Rodríguez was crowned Miss Universe Buenos Aires 2024 in a competition held on Sunday, April 21 at Corregidor Hotel in La Plata. The 60-year-old lawyer and journalist bested more than 30 other contestants to win the title. She will now prepare to represent Buenos Aires at Miss Universe Argentina 2024. To recall, the Miss Universe Organization removed the age limit requirement last year so now anyone from the age of 18 can join the pageant and this applies to all its national franchises. The Miss Republica Dominicana 2024 (Miss Universe Dominican Republic 2024) final will be held this Sunday, May 5 at Centro de Convenciones Sambil in Santo Domingo. Miss Universe Dominican Republic 2024 is Celinee Santos Frias

Celinee Santos Frias was crowned Miss Universe Dominican Republic 2024 during the Miss Republica Dominicana 2024 final competition held on Sunday, May 5 at Centro de Convenciones Sambil in Santo Domingo. The 24-year-old model and actress, representing Distrito Nacional, will now represent the Dominican Republic at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant in Mexico later this year. Melissa Nuñez of the Dominican Community in the USA was first runner-up. She received the title Miss International Dominican Republic 2024 and will go to Miss International 2024. The second runner-up, Haidy Cruz of Monte Cristi was named Reina Hispanoamericana Dominican Republic 2024 and will go to Reina Hispanoamericana 2024. Noelia Voigt steps down as Miss USA 2023

Miss USA 2023 Noelia Voigt officially announced her shocking resignation as titleholder in a post on social media on Monday, May 6. "I realize this may come as a large shock to many. Never compromise your physical and mental well-being. Our health is our wealth," she wrote. "A million thank you's to all of you for your constant and unwavering support. Time to write the next chapter. I hope you’ll stick around to see what's next," she added. The Miss USA organization also released a statement on social media: "We respect and support Noelia’s decision to step down from her duties. The well-being of our titleholders is a top priority, and we understand her need to prioritize herself at this time." Hawaii's Savannah Gankiewicz becomes the new Miss USA

The Miss USA organization has just announced Savannah Gankiewicz of Hawaii as the new Miss USA following the resignation of Noelia Voigt. According to the official announcement, Savannah will be crowned in her home state of Hawaii in a special coronation ceremony next Wednesday, May 15. The new Miss USA was crowned  Miss Hawaii USA in January last year and went on to participate in Miss USA 2023 in Reno, Nevada last September. She finished as first runner-up. Savannah is of Filipino, Vietnamese, and Polish descent born and raised in Kihei on the island of Maui. She is a model, entrepreneur, and self-love advocate. "My decision to accept the Miss USA crown was not one that was made lightly. I stand with Noelia and admire her strength to step down and prioritize her mental health," she wrote in an official statement. "To the state of Hawaii and my family and friends who have always uplifted me during this journey. it is a privilege to accept this title on behalf of you.

Miss New Zealand 2024 is Samantha Poole

Samantha Poole bested 11 other finalists to be crowned Miss New Zealand 2024 (Miss International New Zealand 2024) on Sunday, May 5 at Bruce Mason Centre in Takapuna Beach. The 21-year-old model and digital design graduate of Auckland University of Technology will represent New Zealand at Miss International 2024 in Tokyo, Japan later this year.
