Miss New Zealand 2024 is Samantha Poole


Samantha Poole bested 11 other finalists to be crowned Miss New Zealand 2024 (Miss International New Zealand 2024) on Sunday, May 5 at Bruce Mason Centre in Takapuna Beach.

The 21-year-old model and digital design graduate of Auckland University of Technology will represent New Zealand at Miss International 2024 in Tokyo, Japan later this year.

"What an incredible night. I'm so grateful for all the messages and kind words, thank you for all the support. It all still feels surreal, but everyone on that stage had worked so hard to be there," she wrote on social media.

Rovelyn Milford was named first runner-up and Miss Supranational New Zealand 2025. She is expected to participate in Miss Supranational 2025 in Poland.

Sharlene Sharma, the second runner-up and Miss Intercontinental New Zealand 2024 will go to the Miss Intercontinental 2024 competition later this year.

Maria Anna Franchezca Cabatay and Charlotte Meiklejohn were announced as the third and fourth runners-up, respectively.

Sunday's glittering event also culminated with 26-year-old Inge Carolus taking home the title of Miss Auckland 2024.

The new Miss New Zealand succeeds last year's winner Georgia Waddington who now holds the title of Miss Charm New Zealand 2024 and will compete in the Miss Charm 2024 pageant.

Alejandra Rodríguez, 60, crowned Miss Universe Buenos Aires 2024

Alejandra Rodríguez was crowned Miss Universe Buenos Aires 2024 in a competition held on Sunday, April 21 at Corregidor Hotel in La Plata. The 60-year-old lawyer and journalist bested more than 30 other contestants to win the title. She will now prepare to represent Buenos Aires at Miss Universe Argentina 2024. To recall, the Miss Universe Organization removed the age limit requirement last year so now anyone from the age of 18 can join the pageant and this applies to all its national franchises. Miss Namibia 2024: Meet the Top 10 finalists

From the Top 20, only 10 finalists have been selected to continue their journey to the Miss Namibia 2024 crown. The Top 10 were officially revealed during the preliminary competition held on Saturday, May 11 at Droombos Windhoek. This year's much-awaited final competition date and venue have yet to be announced. The Miss Namibia organization headed by Umbi Karuaihe-Upi currently holds the national license for Miss Universe, Miss World, and Miss Earth pageants. Last year's winner Jameela Uiras went to Miss Universe 2023 last November in El Salvador where she placed in the Top 20. Due to Miss World rules, Namibia's next Miss World representative has to be a national winner. Last year's first runner-up, Albertina Haimbala, was designated for Miss Earth 2024 instead of the 72nd Miss World. Miss Hawaii USA 2023 is Savannah Gankiewicz

Miss Wailea Savannah Gankiewicz was crowned Miss Hawaii USA 2023 in a state competition held on Sunday, January 15 at the Hawaii Convention Center in Honolulu. The 27-year-old model of Filipino, Vietnamese and Polish descent from Maui was also awarded Miss Photogenic. She will now represent Hawaii at the Miss USA 2023 pageant in Reno, Nevada later this year. Kawena Kan-Hai, Breea Yamat, Mikayla Baptista, and Ronelle Valera were announced as the first, second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Last year's titleholder who competed in Miss USA 2022 last October, Kiana Yamat, passed the crown to her successor at the end of the event. Savannah Gankiewicz officially crowned Miss USA 2023 in Hawaii

Hawaii's Savannah Gankiewicz has officially received her sash and crown as the new Miss USA 2023. Her coronation ceremony was held on Wednesday, May 15 at 'Alohilani Resort Waikīkī Beach in Honolulu with the presence of Governor Josh Green. The Miss USA organization recently announced the Maui native as the new titleholder following the resignation of Noelia Voigt to prioritize her mental health. Savannah, who was first runner-up at last year's competition, decided to take over the remaining months of Noelia's reign and is expected to pass her crown at Miss USA 2024 in California this August. Her successor will represent the United States of America at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant to be held in Mexico later this year. Miss Grand Spain 2024 is Susana Medina of Las Palmas

Susana Medina was crowned Miss Grand Spain 2024 in a glittering competition held on Saturday, May 11 at Theatre Municipal Horacio Noguera, Isla Cristina, Huelva. The 25-year-old representative of Las Palmas bested 34 other contestants to win the national title. She succeeds last year's winner Celia Sevilla and will now represent Spain at Miss Grand International 2024. Idayra Tena of Tenerife was named first runner-up while Adriana Corpas of Tarragona, Luana Gheban of Albacete, and Esther Escudero of Euskadi were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. The 25-year-old Winona State University graduate from Sioux Falls will represent South Dakota at Miss USA 2024 this August in Hollywood, California. Miss Universe Ecuador 2024: Meet the contestants

This year's Miss Universe Ecuador pageant under the Concurso Nacional de Belleza (CNB) has officially kicked off with the contestants' arrival on May 15 in the city of Guayaquil. The following day, May 16, the 25 beauties vying for the national title were officially sashed in a special presentation gala held in Machala. Mister Supranational Thailand 2024 is Joe Chonlawit Wongsriwor

The Mister and Miss Supranational Thailand 2024 final competition was held on Friday, May 10 at the at Crystal Design Center (CDC) in Bangkok. Joe Chonlawit Wongsriwor, a 27-year-old professional Thai-English event host hailing from Khon Kaen, was declared Mister Supranational Thailand 2024. Thomas Tom Suppakit Oupkham and Spencer Puvarak Poemnam Munday were the first and second runners-up, respectively. Future Pattawee Waimethachoknugun, Third Boonkarit Sappradit, and Mheepooh Puttimet Naulsaard were the Top 6 and were all third runners-up. The new Mister Supranational Thailand succeeds last year's winner who made the Top 10 at Mister Supranational 2023, Topz Nathanon Narathanyawirun. Chonlawit will soon travel to Poland for the Mister Supranational 2024 competition which is scheduled for July 4 in Nowy Sącz.
