Miss Iowa USA 2024 is McKenzie Ariana Kerry


Miss Capital City, McKenzie Ariana Kerry was crowned Miss Iowa USA 2024 on Sunday, June 23 at the Ames Center in Burnsville, Minnesota.

The 25-year-old, who holds a degree in marketing from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, succeeds last year's winner Grace Lynn Keller.

McKenzie will now prepare to represent the "Hawkeye State" at the Miss USA 2024 pageant in Hollywood, California this August.

"All the glory to God. I'm overwhelmed with gratitude to announce that I am your Miss Iowa USA 2024," she wrote online.

"To every single person who poured into me along this three-year journey - every message, hug, prayer, pep talk, letter - I hope I've made you proud," she added.

The new Miss Iowa USA also left a message to her home state. She said, "To Iowa - It's the honor of a lifetime to represent you and I promise to share the beauty of our state at every opportunity."

Miss Universe 2025, the 74th Miss Universe competition is set to take place on Friday, November 21 at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand. Reigning Miss Universe Victoria Kjær Theilvig from Denmark will hand over her crown to her successor at the conclusion of the event. This year's much-talked-about edition marked Thailand's fourth time hosting the prestigious beauty pageant after 1992, 2005, and 2018. Fatima Bosch was crowned Miss Universe Mexico 2025 on Saturday, September 13 at Sala Placido Domingo (Conjunto Santander de Artes Escénicas) in Zapopan, Jalisco. The 24-year-old designer from Teapa, Tabasco triumphed over 30 other contestants to win the coveted national title. She will represent Mexico at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. Polish-American Emily Reng was officially announced by the Miss Polonia organization as Miss Universe Poland 2025 on Wednesday, October 22. The 20-year-old will now prepare to represent Poland at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this coming November. Miss Universe Argentina 2025 is Aldana Masset of Entre Rios

Aldana Masset was crowned Miss Universe Argentina 2025 on Sunday, May 25 at Mansión Tango in Buenos Aires. The 25-year-old singer and image consultant from the province of Entre Rios beat 27 other contestants to win the national title. Julieta Ricardez of La Pampa was named first runner-up while Judit Grnja of Chaco, Ayelen Torres of La Rioja, Carolina Danieri of Comunidad Extranjera, and Xiomara Menna of Misiones were the second, third, fourth and fifth runners-up, respectively. Former Miss Queen of Portugal Camila Vitorino was crowned Miss Universe Portugal 2025 last Saturday, June 14 in the beautiful and historic city of Elvas. The 26-year-old from São Sebastião, Setúbal made history as the first married woman and mother to become Miss Universe Portugal. Laura Malaquias, Diliana Fernandes, and Ivone Carneiro were announced as the first, second, and third runners-up, respectively. Last year's winner Andreia Correia passed on her crown to her successor at the end of the event.
