Miss Universe Gibraltar 2024 is Shyanne McIntosh


Shyanne McIntosh was crowned Miss Universe Gibraltar 2024 in a glittering competition held on Saturday, August 10 at the Alameda Open Air Theatre.

The 25-year-old beauty edged out eight other competitors to win the title and will now prepare to represent Gibraltar at Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico this November.

Grace Davis and Akisha Ferrell were the first and second runners-up, respectively. The remaining contestants were Indiya Hewkin, Janelle Duo, Courtney Edwards, Natasha Alexander, Mathilda Charvetto, and Kylie Usquieri.

Gibraltar last participated in the Miss Universe pageant in 1990, making this year's event a historic moment for the British Overseas Territory.

"I chose to participate in Miss Universe Gibraltar 2024 because it is a prestigious organization known for its inclusivity and diversity," said the new Miss Universe Gibraltar.

"I believe it gives you the opportunity to advocate for social causes, promote self-confidence, and gain personal development teaching us discipline, resilience, and adaptability."

The inaugural edition of the Reina Filipinas beauty pageant was held on Friday, August 7 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Pasay City. Palawan's Angelica Lopez, former Miss International Philippines, was crowned Reina Filipinas Grand International 2026 and will represent the Philippines at Miss Miss Grand International 2026 pageant this October. Spain wins second Mister Supranational title

Pedro Cordero, a 23-year-old model from Cártama (Málaga), was announced the winner of Mister Supranational 2026 during the pageant's 10th edition, which took place on Saturday, August 1, in Nowy Sącz, Poland. He became the second Spanish representative to claim the international male beauty title, following Iván Álvarez Guedes, who won in 2023. Marcél Roux from South Africa secured the first runner-up position, while Daniel Jiawei Li from China, Ramón Alcántara from the Dominican Republic, and Gabriel Castañeda from Mexico took the second, third, and fourth runner-up spots, respectively. Jaime VandenBerg was announced the winner of Miss Universe Canada 2025 on Saturday, August 9 at the Chrysler Theatre in Windsor, Ontario. The 28-year-old international model and actress from Lethbridge, Alberta will represent Canada at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this November. Karmen Brar was named first runner-up while Jabili Kandula, Malayika Kwizera, and Kamuahao Hei weret the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. The 17th Miss Supranational beauty pageant was held on Friday, July 31 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Poland. Katrina Llegado, a 28-year-old financial management graduate from the Philippines, was crowned Miss Supranational 2026 by her predecessor Eduarda Braum of Brazil. She bested over 60 other contestants to win her country's second Miss Supranational crown after Miss Supranational 2013 Mutya Datul. Meet the winners of Miss Turkey 2025

The glittering Miss Turkey 2025 national competition was held last December 19 at the Lazzoni Hotel in Istanbul. A total of 20 stunning finalists were chosen to compete for the national titles that were at stake — Miss Turkey World and Miss Turkey Supranational. Sıla Saraydemir, a 22-year-old student, was crowned Miss Turkey World 2025. She is expected to represent Turkey at the 73rd Miss World competition whose date and venue have yet to be announced.
