Miss Universe Suriname 2024 is Pooja Chotkan


After 25 years, Suriname is set to return to the Miss Universe stage with the newly announced Miss Universe Suriname 2024 Pooja Chotkan.

Pooja is a 22-year-old geosciences major at the University of Suriname. She is the winner of last year's Miss Tropical Beauties Suriname.

Suriname, a small country on the northeastern coast of South America, last joined Miss Universe in 1999 with Serafija Niekoop.

The new Miss Universe Suriname from Paramaribo enjoys nature, hiking, outdoor life, and traveling.

She advocates for educating and raising awareness, particularly among Gen Z, about the significance of utilizing our natural resources while ensuring the preservation of our ecosystem for future generations.

Pooja will represent Suriname at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant in Mexico this November.

Miss Universe Czech Republic 2025 is Michaela Tomanová

Michaela Tomanová was crowned Miss Universe Czech Republic 2025 (Miss Universe Czechia) on Wednesday, June 25 at Chateau de Frontiere in Hlohovec. The 27-year-old mother, model and scientist from Prague will represent the Czech Republic at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this November. Completing the Top 4 finalists were Eva Brožková, Petra Šafránková, and Sarah Duong Vu Thi Thuy. The new Miss Universe Czech Republic became the first national winner under the directorship of fashion designer Sam Dolce. France's Swann Lavigne wins Mister Supranational 2025

Pastry chef and model Swann Lavigne from France was proclaimed Mister Supranational 2025 on Saturday, June 28 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Poland. The 25-year-old bested 37 other contestants to win the international male pageant. He succeeds last year's winner Fezile Mkhize from South Africa. Zuemerik Veeris of Curacao, Mauricio Calvo of Mexico, Michael Mazi of Nigeria and Kenneth Vincent Cabungcal of the Philippines were named the first, second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Lao-Kiwi Abbigail Sturgin was crowned Miss Universe New Zealand 2025 on Tuesday, June 24 at the SkyCity Theatre in Auckland. The 20-year-old fashion model and a finance student at the American University of Beirut will represent Lebanon at Miss Universe 2025. The 21-year-old beauty succeeds last year's winner Halima Hoy and will now prepare to represent Belize at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. Miss World Hungary 2025 is Janka Végvári

Janka Végvári from Mosonmagyaróvár beat 15 other finalists to be crowned Miss World Hungary 2025 in a spectacular show on Sunday, June 22 in Budapest. The 17-year-old high school student succeeds last year's winner Andrea Katzenbach and is expected to represent Hungary at the 73rd Miss World.
