Miss Turkey 2024: Idil Bilgen wins Miss Turkey World 2024


Idil Bilgen was crowned Miss Turkey World 2024 during the Miss Turkey 2024 national final on Wednesday, September 11 at the Lazzoni Hotel in Istanbul.

The 24-year-old medical doctor bested 19 other competitors to win the national title. She will prepare to represent Türkiye at the 72nd Miss World whose date and venue have yet to be announced.

Cemre Üker clinched the Miss Turkey Supranational 2024 crown and will head to Poland to compete in Miss Supranational 2025 next summer.

Aylin Molla, Melissa Öykü Yorulmaz, Candan Şeviktürk rounded out the Top 5 finalists.

Miss Turkey World 2022 Nursena Say, Miss Turkey Universe 2022 Aleyna Tacirin and Miss Turkey Supranational 2022 Selin Erberk Gurdikyan relinquished their reigns at the end of the event.

Miss Universe Norway 2024 is Lilly Sødal from Kristiansand

Lilly Sødal was crowned Miss Norway 2024 (Miss Universe Norway 2024) during the national competition held last Saturday, August 10 at Rebel in Oslo. The 21-year-old sustainability advocate from Kristiansand received her crown from her predecessor, last year's winner Julie Tollefsen. She will now prepare to represent Norway at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant in Mexico this November. No stranger to pageantry, Lilly is a former Miss Earth Norway who competed in Miss Earth 2022 in the Philippines where she made the Top 20. Athenna Crosby of California bested over 40 other contestants to win the Miss World America 2024 pageant on Sunday, November 17 in Seattle, Washington. The 26-year-old American-Venezuelan model and actress succeeds last year's winner Victoria DiSorbo and will now prepare to represent the United States of America at the 72nd Miss World. Kimberly Nwankolo of Oregon was named first runner-up while Anne Li of the District of Columbia, Aishwarya Kumar of Central Washington, and Heather Alexia Santos of Washington were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Former Miss Slovensko finalist Simona Leskovská has been officially appointed as Miss Supranational Slovakia 2023. Miss Slovakia organization made the announcement on Monday, April 3 via social media. The 31-year-old beauty is a well-known influencer and sports editor from Bratislava. She took part as one of the 12 finalists of Miss Slovensko 2015 and bagged the special title Miss Pierot for her beautiful hair. The 22-year-old model and student from Castletroy, Limerick, was crowned by her predecessor Aadya Srivastava from Galway.
