Miss Turkey Organization has officially revealed on Wednesday, September 14 the Top 20 finalists for the Miss Turkey 2022 pageant. The official finalists were selected out of more than 100 aspirants that were invited to the pre-qualification round that took place yesterday. Who will be the next Miss Turkey World, Miss Turkey Universe, and Miss Turkey Supranational? The Miss Turkey 2022 grand coronation will be held on Tuesday, September 20 at the Lazzoni Hotel in Istanbul. At the end of the event, last year's winners Dilara Korkmaz, Cemrenaz Turhan, and Şira Sahilli will crown their successors who will represent Turkey at the next Miss World, Miss Universe, and Miss Supranational editions. Over 100 eligible applicants turned up for the pre-qualification round of the Miss Turkey 2022 competition on Tuesday, September 13 at the Lazzoni Hotel in Istanbul. From this round, the special jury will select only 20 beauties who will move on to the camp process and the grand final next Tuesday, September 20 at the same venue. The Miss Turkey Organization has yet to announce the names of the Top 20 official finalists. Just like every year, the winners of this year's competition will represent the country at Miss World, Miss Universe, and Miss Supranational pageants. The country's most prestigious beauty pageant has been sending Turkish representatives to the world's largest competitions including Miss International since 1980. One of the remarkable winners is actress and dancer Azra Akın who won Miss World 2002. Miss Turkey 2021 has crowned its official representatives for the next Miss Universe, Miss World, and Miss Supranational pageants on Wednesday, September 8 in Istanbul. Dilara Korkmaz, 23, Cemrenaz Turhan, 23, and Şira Sahilli, 21, were announced as Miss Turkey World 2021, Miss Turkey Universe 2021, and Miss Turkey Supranational 2021, respectively. Su Bige Korucu was named Miss Farmasi Turkey. While master's student Dilara will go on to represent Turkey at Miss World 2021 pageant in San Juan, Puerto Rico, engineering student Cemrenaz will travel to Eilat, Israel for Miss Universe 2021. Dilara Korkmaz, 23, was crowned Miss Turkey World 2021 in a glittering competition held in Istanbul on Wednesday, September 8. The second-year master's degree student at Ankara University bested 19 other beauties to win her national title.
