Miss Universe Mexico 2024 is María Fernanda Beltrán Figueroa


María Fernanda Beltrán Figueroa of Sinaloa was crowned Miss Universe Mexico 2024 in a national competition held on Saturday, September 7 at the Cancun Convention Center.

The 24-year-old model and entrepreneur from Culiacán bested over 30 other contestants to win the national title. She will represent Mexico at Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico City this November.

Aranza Molina of Tabasco and Karen Bustos of San Luis Potosí were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Mariana Macías of Michoacán and Lorena Sevilla of Colima rounded out the Top 5 finalists.

The rest of the Top 10 were from Guerrero (Priscila Valverde), Ciudad de México (María Malo), Jalisco (Cristina Villegas), Comunidad Internacional (Ariadna Muro), and Nuevo León (Alejandra Tijerina).

Completing the Top 16 were Hidalgo (Zya Barceló), Tlaxcala (Paula Gorozpe), Querétaro (Esmeralda Meza), Yucatán (Ana Paulina Rovero), Guanajuato (Zaida Ramírez), and Estado de México (Jessica Farjat).

The new Miss Universe Mexico received her national crown from the reigning Miss Universe Sheynnis Palacios of Nicaragua.

María Fernanda holds a degree in marketing and communication and is a polyglot. Aside from Spanish, she also speaks English and French.

No stranger to pageantry, she previously held the title Miss Grand Mexico and went to participate in Miss Grand International 2023 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

A passionate advocate for the underprivileged, she founded a nonprofit Marbe Fundacion, whose main goal is to help others in dire need.

Miss Universe 2024, the 73rd Miss Universe pageant will be held on November 16 at the the Arena CDMX in Mexico City, Mexico. Daumier Corilla of the Philippines was proclaimed Mister Global 2024 on Sunday, October 6 at MCC Hall of The Mall Lifestore Bangkapi in Bangkok, Thailand. The 28-year-old model, actor, and host bested over 30 other contestants to become the first-ever Filipino winner of the international male pageant. Shereen Ahmed was recently crowned Miss Universe Bahrain 2024 and will compete in the Miss Universe 2024 pageant in Mexico this November. The Miss International organization has officially announced the names of the contestants who are vying for Miss International 2024. A total of 75 beauties from different countries and territories are expected to compete for the coveted international beauty title. The contestants will start arriving in Japan on October 29 and will be immersed in various social, cultural, and educational activities. Reigning Miss International Andrea Rubio from Venezuela will crown her successor on November 12 at the Tokyo Dome City Hall. USA's Janelis Leyba wins Miss Asia Pacific International 2024

USA's Janelis Leyba was crowned Miss Asia Pacific International 2024 on Monday, October 7 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Pasay City, Philippines. The 20-year-old model and student from New York City beat over 30 other contestants to become the first representative from the United States of America to win the international title. After a 23-year hiatus, Hong Kong is set to return to the Miss Universe stage this year with Miss Universe Hong Kong 2024 Joanne Rhodes. The 24-year-old art advisor and model edged out 15 other finalists to win the competition on September 26 at the Go Park Sai Sha. Jázmin Viktória Elizabeth was crowned Miss Universe Hungary 2021 in a special event held at Gigi's Budapest on Saturday, November 6. The 20-year-old model and student from Budapest bested 13 other beauties to win her national title. She will now prepare to represent Hungary at the 70th Miss Universe pageant in Eilat, Israel this December. Edina Maronka and Nina Tobias were the first and second runners-up, respectively. "I’m beyond blessed and honored that I will represent Hungary," the new Miss Universe Hungary shared on her social media account.
