Miss Universe Switzerland 2024 is Laura Bircher from Stans


Laura Bircher was crowned Miss Universe Switzerland 2024 in a glittering national competition held on Saturday, September 28 at the Kursaal Arena in Bern.

The 23-year-old mental health advocate from Stans succeeds last year's winner Lorena Santen and will now prepare to represent Switzerland at Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico this November.

Barbara Suter and Nadiya Karplyuk were named the first and second runners-up, respectively.

Last night's event was hosted by Mister Colombia International 2012 Rey Rodríguez with Swiss media personality Virgil Jamie.

Former Miss Universe Nepal and Miss Universe 2023 Top 20 semifinalist Jane Dipika Garrett graced the event as one of the judges.

The 73rd Miss Universe pageant will be held at the Mexico City Arena (Arena CDMX) in Mexico City, Mexico on November 16.

Miss Denmark 2026 is Simone Julie Lythje from Silkeborg

The Miss Denmark 2026 pageant, celebrating its 100th anniversary, took place on Sunday, September 13, at the renowned Cirkusbygningen in Copenhagen. Simone Julie Lythje, a 21-year-old teaching assistant from Silkeborg, Jutland, has been named the new Miss Denmark. She was presented with her crown by her predecessor, Josephine Bøttger, who recently participated in Miss World 2026 held in Vietnam. Another notable winner from the event was 23-year-old Anne-Marie Olsvig Lauritzen from Ilulissat, who earned the title of Miss Greenland 2026. USA wins back-to-back Miss International Queen titles

Lo Colby of the USA was crowned Miss International Queen 2026 on Saturday, September 19 at the Tiffany's Show Pattaya in Pattaya, Thailand. The Hawaiian-born Thai-American transgender beauty based in Los Angeles bested 26 rival contestants to win the coveted title. She also bagged the Best in Talent award. Lo succeeds last year's winner and fellow American Midori Monét, securing an unprecedented back-to-back victory in Miss International Queen history. Daiana Stefani Pereyra has officially been named the new Miss Universe Argentina 2026 after the crowned titleholder Tamara Rogouski stepped down for personal reasons. The 28-year-old cabin crew competed for La Pampa and earned the first runner-up position at the national pageant in May. Veera Grönlund, a 30-year-old from Helsinki, was crowned Miss Suomi 2026 (Miss Finland 2026) on Saturday, September 5, at Hybridiarena Hype in Espoo. Joheirry Mola Dominguez from the Dominican Republic bested 110 other contestants to win Miss World 2026 on Saturday, September 5 in Nha Trang, Vietnam. The 24-year-old model, teacher, news correspondent and advocate received the coveted crown and sash from her predecessor Opal Suchata Chuangsri from Thailand.
