Miss World Nigeria 2025 is Joy Mojisola Raimi of Osun State


Joy Mojisola Raimi bested over 30 other contestants to be crowned Miss World Nigeria 2025 on Friday, April 4 at the Balmoral Event Center in Lagos.

The 24-year-old, representing the state of Osun, also bagged the Miss Photogenic award. She will now prepare to participate in the Miss World 2025 competition to be held in India this May.

"I have always dreamt of the Miss World platform — and on the day I called my chaperone to begin this journey, I was filled with fear and doubt. But somehow, that call lit a fire in me. A fire that carried me here," Joy shared online.

She also wrote, "This is not just a win — it is a call. A call to serve, to inspire, and to bring home the crown we’ve all dreamed of."

No stranger to pageantry, the new Miss World Nigeria is a former Miss Intercontinental Nigeria. She participated in Miss Intercontinental 2022 in Egypt and placed second runner-up.

Miss World 2026 is Joheirry Mola from the Dominican Republic

Joheirry Mola Dominguez from the Dominican Republic bested 110 other contestants to win Miss World 2026 on Saturday, September in Nha Trang, Vietnam. The 24-year-old model, teacher, news correspondent and advocate received the coveted crown and sash from her predecessor Opal Suchata Chuangsri from Thailand. She became the second woman from the Dominican Republic to become Miss World next to Mariasela Álvarez who won in 1982. Elisabeth Reynés of Spain and Taanusiya Chetty of Malaysia were announced the second and third placers, respectively. Caitlin Worthington was declared the winner of Miss Universe Australia 2026 at the national final on Wednesday, August 26, held at the Crown Melbourne. Miss World 2026: Meet the continental winners of the Head-to-Head Challenge

The Head-to-Head Challenge for Miss World 2026 took place on August 22 and 24 at the Khanh Hoa Children's Palace in Nha Trang, Vietnam. During the event, all contestants presented themselves and shared speeches about their initiatives. From each continental group, five contestants were selected to move on to the second round, where four continental winners were determined. The continental winners were Romanda Hombir from South Africa, Georgia-Lee Gill from Trinidad and Tobago, Asia Rose Simpson from the Philippines, and Julia Kühnle from Germany. By winning their respective continental groups, they have already earned their spots in the Top 40. Based on their answers during the final round, one of them will be declared the overall challenge winner and will automatically progress to the Top 20.
