Miss World Nigeria 2025 is Joy Mojisola Raimi of Osun State


Joy Mojisola Raimi bested over 30 other contestants to be crowned Miss World Nigeria 2025 on Friday, April 4 at the Balmoral Event Center in Lagos.

The 24-year-old, representing the state of Osun, also bagged the Miss Photogenic award. She will now prepare to participate in the Miss World 2025 competition to be held in India this May.

"I have always dreamt of the Miss World platform — and on the day I called my chaperone to begin this journey, I was filled with fear and doubt. But somehow, that call lit a fire in me. A fire that carried me here," Joy shared online.

She also wrote, "This is not just a win — it is a call. A call to serve, to inspire, and to bring home the crown we’ve all dreamed of."

No stranger to pageantry, the new Miss World Nigeria is a former Miss Intercontinental Nigeria. She participated in Miss Intercontinental 2022 in Egypt and placed second runner-up.

Vanessa Pulgarin from Colombia was proclaimed the winner MGI All Stars 2026 on Saturday, May 30 at MGI Hall in Bangkok, Thailand. The 34-year-old model bested over 50 other contestants to win the first edition of the pageant. She is expected to return for the second edition to defend her title. Spain wins second Mister Supranational title

Pedro Cordero, a 23-year-old model from Cártama (Málaga), was announced the winner of Mister Supranational 2026 during the pageant's 10th edition, which took place on Saturday, August 1, in Nowy Sącz, Poland. He became the second Spanish representative to claim the international male beauty title, following Iván Álvarez Guedes, who won in 2023. Marcél Roux from South Africa secured the first runner-up position, while Daniel Jiawei Li from China, Ramón Alcántara from the Dominican Republic, and Gabriel Castañeda from Mexico took the second, third, and fourth runner-up spots, respectively. The glittering Miss Turkey 2025 national competition was held last December 19 at the Lazzoni Hotel in Istanbul. A total of 20 stunning finalists were chosen to compete for the national titles that were at stake — Miss Turkey World and Miss Turkey Supranational. The 17th Miss Supranational beauty pageant was held on Friday, July 31 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Poland. Katrina Llegado, a 28-year-old financial management graduate from the Philippines, was crowned Miss Supranational 2026 by her predecessor Eduarda Braum of Brazil. She bested over 60 other contestants to win her country's second Miss Supranational crown after Miss Supranational 2013 Mutya Datul. Jaime VandenBerg was announced the winner of Miss Universe Canada 2025 on Saturday, August 9 at the Chrysler Theatre in Windsor, Ontario. The 28-year-old international model and actress from Lethbridge, Alberta will represent Canada at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this November.
