Miss World Nigeria 2025 is Joy Mojisola Raimi of Osun State


Joy Mojisola Raimi bested over 30 other contestants to be crowned Miss World Nigeria 2025 on Friday, April 4 at the Balmoral Event Center in Lagos.

The 24-year-old, representing the state of Osun, also bagged the Miss Photogenic award. She will now prepare to participate in the Miss World 2025 competition to be held in India this May.

"I have always dreamt of the Miss World platform — and on the day I called my chaperone to begin this journey, I was filled with fear and doubt. But somehow, that call lit a fire in me. A fire that carried me here," Joy shared online.

She also wrote, "This is not just a win — it is a call. A call to serve, to inspire, and to bring home the crown we’ve all dreamed of."

No stranger to pageantry, the new Miss World Nigeria is a former Miss Intercontinental Nigeria. She participated in Miss Intercontinental 2022 in Egypt and placed second runner-up.

Puerto Rico's Ivana Carolina Irizarry crowned Universal Woman 2025

Ivana Carolina Irizarry, representing Puerto Rico, was crowned Universal Woman 2025 on Saturday, August 10 in Jaipur, India. The 30-year-old model, presenter and businesswoman made history as the first Puerto Rican woman to clinch the international title. She succeeds last year's winner Maria Gigante of the Philippines. Ilda Amani edged out 19 other competitors to be crowned Miss Universe DR Congo 2024 on Thursday, August 29 at the Pullman Grand Hotel in Kinshasa. Jaime VandenBerg was announced the winner of Miss Universe Canada 2025 on Saturday, August 9 at the Chrysler Theatre in Windsor, Ontario. The 28-year-old international model and actress from Lethbridge, Alberta will represent Canada at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this November. The 17th Miss Supranational beauty pageant was held on Friday, July 31 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Poland. Katrina Llegado, a 28-year-old financial management graduate from the Philippines, was crowned Miss Supranational 2026 by her predecessor Eduarda Braum of Brazil. She bested over 60 other contestants to win her country's second Miss Supranational crown after Miss Supranational 2013 Mutya Datul.
