Nadia Mejia-Webb crowned Miss Universe Ecuador 2025


Nadia Mejia-Webb, representing Comunidad USA, was crowned Miss Universe Ecuador 2025 in a national competition held on Saturday, July 26 at Palacio de Cristal in Guayaquil.

The 29-year-old model and singer will now prepare to represent Ecuador at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November.

Daphne Currat of Tungurahua and Christie Termidor of Región Sierra were named the first and second runners-up, respectively.

Christiane Marques of Guayaquil and Mariola Vejarano of Guayas rounded out the Top 5 finalists.

Reigning Miss Universe Victoria Kjær Theilvig of Denmark was a special guest at the pageant.

The new Miss Universe Ecuador succeeds last year's winner Mara Topić who made the Top 30 at Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico.

Nadia is the daughter of Ecuadorian musician Gerardo Mejia and former Miss West Virginia USA Kathy Eicher. She is married to Australian Survivor star and actor Sam Webb since 2023.

She is no stranger to pageantry, having won Miss California USA and made the Top 5 at Miss USA 2016. She also joined last year's Miss Universe Ecuador competition and finished first runner-up.

"Making up on my first day as Miss Universe Ecuador and i still feel like I'm dreaming. I can't believe this is my reality," Nadia shared in Spanish after winning her crown.

"Thank you Ecuador for believing in me. This title is not just mine, it belongs to everyone who dreams big," she added.

Yamilex Hernández crowned Miss Universe Latina 2025

Yamilex Hernández was proclaimed the winner of Miss Universe Latina 2025 during the culmination of Telemundo's "Miss Universe Latina, El Reality" on Monday, July 21. The 29-year-old Dominican model and host living in New Jersey received her crown and sash from former Miss Universe winners Alicia Machado and Andrea Meza. Miss Universe Great Britain 2025 is Danielle Latimer

Danielle Latimer beat over 30 other contestants to win Miss Universe Great Britain 2025 on Saturday, July 26 at Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff, Wales. The 36-year-old entrepreneur, stylist and photographer will represent Great Britain at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. Kaori Hashimoto was crowned Miss Universe Japan 2025 in a national competition held on Wednesday, July 16 in Shibuya. The 21-year-old business administration student from Tochigi Prefecture beat over 40 other contestants to win the national title. Saki Fujita and Reina Ishii were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Chiemi Takayama and Naomi Monique Kamidate were the rest of the Top 5 finalists. Olivia Yace has been officially appointed by the Miss Côte d'Ivoire Committee (COMICI) as Miss Universe Côte d'Ivoire 2025. An official announcement was made by the national pageant organization on Wednesday, July 23 thru social media. Mayla Roth Benavides was proclaimed Miss Universe Costa Rica 2025 on Saturday, July 19 at Centro Internacional de Convenciones ANDE (CIC ANDE) in San Antonio. The 26-year-old business administration student from Cahuita de Limón was crowned by last year's winner Elena Hidalgo Ramirez. Lina Luaces was crowned Miss Universe Cuba 2025 in a national competition held last July 8 at Milander Park in Hialeah, Florida, USA.
