Miss Universe Israel 2025 is Melanie Shiraz of Caesarea


Melanie Shiraz, representing Caesarea, was proclaimed the winner of Miss Universe Israel 2025 in a competition held on Thursday, July 17 at Hilton Aventura in Miami, Florida.

The 26-year-old Israeli entrepreneur and creative will represent Israel at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. She was crowned by her predecessor, last year's winner Ofir Natalie Korsia.

"Last night was unforgettable and special beyond words. It is such an honor to be given the privilege to represent Israel on an international stage," the new Miss Universe Israel shared online.

"I want to extend my deepest, most heartfelt thanks to everyone who was part of this journey and helped make it happen," she added.

She also wrote: "I can't wait to show the world what I'll do next and how I'll use this platform to give Israel a voice and to create meaningful lasting impact on the world. Thank you for trusting me, I'll do everything in my power to make you all proud."

Melanie is a data science graduate of the University of California, Berkeley. She is deeply committed to empowering women, amplifying underrepresented voices, and fostering pride and belonging in the Jewish and Israeli community.
