Miss Universe Israel 2025 is Melanie Shiraz of Caesarea


Melanie Shiraz, representing Caesarea, was proclaimed the winner of Miss Universe Israel 2025 in a competition held on Thursday, July 17 at Hilton Aventura in Miami, Florida.

The 26-year-old Israeli entrepreneur and creative will represent Israel at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. She was crowned by her predecessor, last year's winner Ofir Natalie Korsia.

"Last night was unforgettable and special beyond words. It is such an honor to be given the privilege to represent Israel on an international stage," the new Miss Universe Israel shared online.

"I want to extend my deepest, most heartfelt thanks to everyone who was part of this journey and helped make it happen," she added.

She also wrote: "I can't wait to show the world what I'll do next and how I'll use this platform to give Israel a voice and to create meaningful lasting impact on the world. Thank you for trusting me, I'll do everything in my power to make you all proud."

Melanie is a data science graduate of the University of California, Berkeley. She is deeply committed to empowering women, amplifying underrepresented voices, and fostering pride and belonging in the Jewish and Israeli community.

Miss World Italy 2026 is Mia Zottoli Montanaro from Puglia

Mia Zottoli Montanaro was proclaimed the winner of Miss Mondo Italia 2026 (Miss World Italy) last Sunday, June 14 at the Ecoresort Le Sirenè in Gallipoli. The 21-year-old model and former volleyball player of Argentine descent from Taranto, Puglia was crowned by her predecessor Sofia Viola. Basma Zaid of Basilicata and Azzura Sandrini of Lombardia were announced the first and second runners-up, respectively. Caterina Noghera of Veneto, Lara Boemio of Toscana, and Ginevra Pagano of Campania rounded out the Top 6 finalists. California's Athenna Crosby crowned Miss World America 2024

Athenna Crosby of California bested over 40 other contestants to win the Miss World America 2024 pageant on Sunday, November 17 in Seattle, Washington. The 26-year-old American-Venezuelan model and actress succeeds last year's winner Victoria DiSorbo and will now prepare to represent the United States of America at the 72nd Miss World. Kimberly Nwankolo of Oregon was named first runner-up while Anne Li of the District of Columbia, Aishwarya Kumar of Central Washington, and Heather Alexia Santos of Washington were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. The 26-year-old professional model and fashion sciences graduate from Anzio triumphed over 20 other contestants to win the national title.
