Miss Universe Colombia 2025 is Vanessa Pulgarín of Antioquia


Vanessa Pulgarín was proclaimed the winner of Miss Universe Colombia 2025 in a reality show broadcasted by Canal RCN on Sunday, September 28.

The 34-year-old businesswoman, athlete, and model from Medellín, Antioquia will represent Colombia at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this November.

Gloria Mutis of Santander was named first runner-up while Marlyn Dinas of Cauca, Sofía Donado of Magdalena, and Ángela Arcila of Risaralda were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively.

The new Miss Universe Colombia was crowned by her predecessor, last year's winner Daniela Toloza from Cali.

No stranger to pageantry, Vanessa has previously joined the Señorita Colombia 2017 competition and placed second among 23 contestants.

She was later awarded the title of Miss International Colombia and went on to compete in Miss International 2017 in Tokyo, Japan.

Miss Universe 2025: Meet the contestants

Miss Universe 2025, the 74th Miss Universe competition is set to take place on Friday, November 21 at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand. Reigning Miss Universe Victoria Kjær Theilvig from Denmark will hand over her crown to her successor at the conclusion of the event. This year's much-talked-about edition marked Thailand's fourth time hosting the prestigious beauty pageant after 1992, 2005, and 2018. Polish-American Emily Reng to represent Poland at Miss Universe 2025

Polish-American Emily Reng was officially announced by the Miss Polonia organization as Miss Universe Poland 2025 on Wednesday, October 22. The 20-year-old will now prepare to represent Poland at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this coming November. Emily is a graduate of John Hersey High School in Arlington Heights, Illinois and is currently a student at the University of South Carolina. The new Miss Universe Poland is no stranger to pageantry. Former Miss Queen of Portugal Camila Vitorino was crowned Miss Universe Portugal 2025 last Saturday, June 14 in the beautiful and historic city of Elvas. The 26-year-old from São Sebastião, Setúbal made history as the first married woman and mother to become Miss Universe Portugal. The 25-year-old singer and image consultant from the province of Entre Rios beat 27 other contestants to win the national title. Michaela Tomanová was crowned Miss Universe Czech Republic 2025 (Miss Universe Czechia) on Wednesday, June 25 at Chateau de Frontiere in Hlohovec. Iceland's Helena O'Connor withdraws from Miss Universe 2025

The Miss Iceland Organization has announced today that Miss Universe Iceland 2025 Helena Hafþórsdóttir O'Connor has withdrawn from the 74th Miss Universe pageant. In an official statement released on social media, the organization said that the 21-year-old psychology student from Viðey has been ill for the past few days. The statement also stated: "She is thankfully recovering but we are devastated to announce that, due to personal reasons, she has made the difficult decision of withdrawing from the Miss Universe competition in Thailand." Helena was crowned Ungfrú Ísland 2025 (Miss Iceland 2025) in Reykjavik last April.
