Miss Universe Organization partners with Zetrix to launch voting app


The Miss Universe Organization has officially announced its partnership with Zetrix to launch the Miss Universe Global Blockchain Voting App.

A press conference was held in Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday, September 25 with the presence of Miss Universe Malaysia 2025 Chloe Lim and Miss Universe Indonesia 2025 Sanly Liu.

The collaboration underscores Miss Universe's commitment to innovation, transparency and deeper fan engagement, ensuring that every voice is heard and every vote counts.

Soon available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, the app introduces artificial intelligence (AI) companions inspired by Miss Universe contestants. Fans around the world can look forward to a more interactive and immersive way to connect with the pageant than ever before.

"By launching this blockchain-powered voting app with Zetrix, we are empowering our fans across continents with the most advanced, secure and inclusive technology available today," said MUO President Raul Rocha Cantu.

"This is not just a digital tool — it is a platform that brings fans closer to the contestants, their causes and their cultures like never before. Whether you are in Mexico City, Manila, Lagos or Jakarta, your voice matters, and now your vote does too — with absolute transparency and trust," he added.

Zetrix Co-Founder Dato' Fadzli Shah also shared: "We are thrilled to bring our blockchain and AI expertise to the Miss Universe international stage. This partnership ensures that fans around the world can enjoy trusted and interactive voting for the first time in Miss Universe history."

Miss Universe 2025, the much-awaited 74th Miss Universe pageant, will be held this coming November in Thailand.

Asia Rose Simpson from Quezon City was crowned Miss World Philippines 2026 during the national final of the pageant held on Tuesday, February 3 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. The 18-year-old Filipino-American beauty also bagged the Best in Swimsuit, Best in Talent, and Beauty with a Purpose award. Soraya Kohlmann was crowned Miss Universe Germany 2022 in a casting event held on Saturday, July 2 at Holiday Inn Hotel Düsseldorf-Neuss. The 24-year-old former Miss Germany (2017) and business owner who hails from Leipzig succeeds last year's titleholder Hannah Seifer. She will now prepare to represent her country at Miss Universe 2022. Varvara Yakovenko beat over 50 other contestants to win Miss Intercontinental 2025 on Thursday, January 29 at V Hotel Sahl Hasheesh in Egypt. The 18-year-old model became the fourth woman from Russia to hold the international beauty title. She succeeds last year's winner María Cepero from Puerto Rico. The glittering Miss Turkey 2025 national competition was held last December 19 at the Lazzoni Hotel in Istanbul. A total of 20 stunning finalists were chosen to compete for the national titles that were at stake — Miss Turkey World and Miss Turkey Supranational. The Mister International pageant, a celebrated event in the world of male beauty, was established in 2006 in Singapore by Alan Sim, its original president and founder. After the unfortunate passing of Sim, the pageant relocated its headquarters to Bangkok, Thailand, where it is now guided by the current president, Pradit Pradinunt.
