The host country of the 11th Mr World (Mr World 2024) has been officially announced on Monday, March 18. In an official post on social media, the organizers shared the much-awaited announcement of Vietnam as this year's host country for the prestigious male competition. "Vietnam, Southeast Asia's most diverse nation, the land of the ascending Dragon, will host the 11th edition of Mr World," posted on Mr World's official Instagram page. "The Festival is back with new and exciting features like you have never seen before. With a record number of countries and territories, Mr World is coming to you in September of 2024." Mr World was last held in August 2019 in Manila, Philippines. The reigning Mr World is an aerospace engineer from England, Jack Heselewood. Jorge Aldoney Mazzachiodi was named Mr World Chile 2022 in a national competition held on July 10 at Teatro Cousiño in Santiago. The 26-year-old fashion model and commercial engineer who represented the district of Providencia bested 12 other finalists to win the national title. At the end of the event, Mr Mundo Chile 2018 Felipe Rojas Ramírez sashed his successor who will now prepare to represent the "land of poets" at the 11th Mr World edition. Hanniel Espinoza (right) has won the Mister Mundo Nicaragua 2022 competition which was held last August 13 at the Holiday Inn Convention Center in Managua. The 26-year-old fashion model from Chontales is expected to represent Nicaragua at the 11th Mr World competition. He also received the title Manhunt Nicaragua 2022 and will compete in the 21st Manhunt International edition in the Philippines this October. "A great night full of many emotions, but thank God I managed to achieve this goal, I want to thank all the people who supported me since the beginning of this competition," he wrote on social media after winning the national competition. Hanniel is no stranger to pageantry - he previously held the titles Mister Teen Mesoamerica World 2016 and Men Universe Model Nicaragua 2018. A 25-year-old model and Century Tuna Superbods 2022 winner Kirk Bondad will represent the Philippines at the 11th Mr World pageant. The Filipino-German was officially announced as Mr World Philippines 2022 during the Miss World Philippines 2022 final competition held in June. Kirk is the brother of Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray's ex-boyfriend, the model and actor Clint Bondad. He is also in a relationship right now with Filipino-Australian Kathleen Paton, the reigning Miss Eco International. Earlier this month, he announced teaming up with The CAMP for his training in preparation for the international pageant and hopefully bringing the first Mr World title to the Philippines. Roberto Mena has been officially announced as Mr World Costa Rica 2022. The 24-year-old journalist and model from the canton of Escazú will represent Costa Rica at the 11th Mr World pageant. According to Concurso Nacional de Belleza Costa Rica, Roberto has fought for animal welfare for many years, campaigning alongside beauty queens and personalities from the Costa Rican media. The 11th Mr World competition is expected to be held in the middle of 2023 but the final date and venue are yet to be announced by the Miss World Organization. Mister Panama 2021 Aarón Guerra will represent Panama at the 11th edition of the Mr World pageant. The 27-year-old professional model and dentist from the province of Coclé won his national title last December in Panama City. Aaron started the project “Cuida tu Sonrisa” (Take Care of Your Smile) which focuses on promoting oral health in children. Founded in 1996, the London-based Mr World competition is a male beauty pageant organized by the Miss World Organization. Mr World 2019 Jack Heslewood, an aerospace engineer from England is the reigning titleholder. He is the first-ever English and the fifth European to win the international pageant.
