Mr World 2024: Puerto Rico's Daniel Mejía wins Sports Challenge


Puerto Rico's Daniel Mejía was declared the overall winner of the Mr World 2024 Sports Challenge following the combined results of swimming and running events.

The swimming round was held on November 14, while the running round took place on Sunday in conjunction with the Strong Vietnam Marathon in Vung Tau City.

Kirk Bondad of the Philipines came second while Bruno Barbieri of Italy, Manu Turner of England, and Vincent Gobuamang of Botswana were third, fourth, and fifth, respectively.

The Sports Challenge winner officially earns direct entry into the Top 20 to be announced at the upcoming final show on November 23 in Phan Thiet, Vietnam.

Miss Universe Croatia 2026 is Antea Mršić from Zagreb

Antea Mršić edged out 14 other contestants to win Miss Universe Croatia 2026 on Monday, May 25 at Esplanade Hotel in Zagreb. The 24-year-old sports management graduate from Zagreb will now prepare to represent Croatia at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant in Puerto Rico this November. Monika Vojvodić was named first runner-up while Laura Vujica, Magdalena Fofić and Beata Šimat were the second, third and fourth runners-up, respectively. "I am endlessly grateful for every single person who believed in me," the new Miss Universe Croatia shared online. "I am excited to have the opportunity to represent Croatia on the world stage," she added. This year's pageant marked the 30th anniversary edition of the national competition. Vanessa Pulgarin of Colombia crowned MGI All Stars 2026

Vanessa Pulgarin from Colombia was proclaimed the winner MGI All Stars 2026 on Saturday, May 30 at MGI Hall in Bangkok, Thailand. The 34-year-old model bested over 50 other contestants to win the first edition of the pageant. She is expected to return for the second edition to defend her title. Faith Maria Porter of Ghana and Nguyen Huong Giang of Vietnam were respectively named the first and second runners-up while Mariana Bečková of the Czech Republic and Gazini Ganados of the Philippines completed the Top 5. Kamilla Kiss, 25, was crowned Miss Universe Hungary 2026 on Friday, June 19 at Kálmán Imre Theater in Budapest. She beat 11 other contestants to win the national competition and will now prepare to represent Hungary at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant in Puerto Rico this November. Lilien Sarka and Kinga Óvári were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. The new Miss Universe Hungary succeeds last year's winner Kincső Dezsényi. Kaori Hashimoto was crowned Miss Universe Japan 2025 in a national competition held on Wednesday, July 16 in Shibuya. The 21-year-old business administration student from Tochigi Prefecture beat over 40 other contestants to win the national title. Saki Fujita and Reina Ishii were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Chiemi Takayama and Naomi Monique Kamidate were the rest of the Top 5 finalists. Vida Milivojša was crowned Miss Slovenije 2022 (Miss Slovenia) on Sunday, September 4 in the beautiful municipality of Braslovče. The 23-year-old beauty from Ljubljana bested 15 other finalists to win her national title. She is a dancer and student pursuing a degree in marketing communication and public relations. Bea Millan-Windorski of La Union was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2026 during the final of the national pageant on Saturday, May 2 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. The 24-year-old Filipino-American beauty succeeded Maria Ahtisa Manalo from Quezon Province.
