Indira Ampiot to represent France at Miss Universe 2024


Miss France 2023 Indira Ampiot officially confirmed she will head to Mexico to represent France at the 73rd Miss Universe (Miss Universe 2024) pageant this November.

The 19-year-old shared the news on social media today. She said: "I am so happy to officially announce this news to you. I'm heading to Mexico to represent France at the Miss Universe competition next November."

"Miss Universe has always been a dream to achieve. I am determined to make France shine and try to win the crown," she added and thanked the Miss France organization for the opportunity and their support.

Indira hails from from Basse-Terre, Guadeloupe. She was crowned Miss Basse-Terre and Miss Guadeloupe 2022 before becoming the fourth woman from her region to win Miss France.

Last December, she crowned her successor Miss France 2024 Eve Gilles of Nord Pas-de-Calais at the Zénith de Dijon in Dijon.
