Nadia Tjoa of Indonesia was crowned Miss Face of Humanity 2022 in a glittering competition held on Saturday, April 2 at the Metro Toronto Convention Center in Toronto, Canada. The 27-year-old old architecture graduate, model, and entrepreneur bested 16 other contestants to win the international pageant. As its global ambassador, she will advocate youth and women empowerment around the world. Rwanda's Rita Ngarambe, USA's Kerri Jade Shapiro, and Hong Kong's Juliette Louie were the first, second, and third runners-up, respectively. Australia, Thailand, Philippines, Afghanistan, Comores, and Mexico completed the Top 10. The winner was crowned by former Miss Universe Thailand and Miss Universe Top 5 finalist Paweensuda Drouin. After some deliberation and close interview with some contestants, Miss Grand Indonesia national director Ivan Gunawan appointed Andina Julie as Miss Grand Indonesia 2022. The 21-year-old model and singer from South Sumatra will represent her country at the Miss Grand International 2022 competition later this year. Indonesia has been officially announced as the host country of the 10th year anniversary of Miss Grand International. The announcement was made during the Miss Grand International 2021 final competition held at the SHOW DC Hall in Bangkok, Thailand on December 4. Miss Grand Indonesia National Director Ivan Gunawan was welcomed onto the stage during the show so MGI President Nawat Itsaragrisil can officially entrust the right to host next year's grand edition. The Miss Grand International 2022 final competition will take place on October 25, 2022, in the beautiful city of Jakarta, Indonesia.

Miss Grand International 2021 contestants' orientation and sash ceremony was held on Wednesday, November 17 at Four Points by Sheraton Phuket Patong Beach Resort in Thailand. Meet the official delegates of the Miss Earth 2021 virtual competition from Bulgaria, Indonesia, Northern Marianas, and Peru: Miss Earth Bulgaria 2021 is 28-year-old Yuliia Pavlikova. She holds a doctorate degree in economics and is a member of the Fund for the Protection of Animals. Monica Francisca Khonado was appointed as Miss Earth Indonesia 2021. She is a host and moderator and founded the sustainability project Voice of Nature Indonesia. Crystal Fiona Rio was named Miss Earth Northern Marianas 2021 in a national competition held at the Hyatt Regency Saipan on September 18. The 18-year-old college student is currently working towards her master's degree in psychology. Miss Earth Peru 2021 is Briggitte Corrales, who is a graduate of business and marketing. Indonesian-English model from Bali, Sophia Rogan, has been officially named Miss Grand Indonesia 2021 on Thursday, May 20. The 19-year-old beauty was chosen to succeed Miss Grand Indonesia 2020 and Miss Grand International 2020 third runner-up Aurra Kharishma. "With this platform, my goal is to embody an authentic and genuine spirit, and use my voice to stand up for what I believe in - because at the end of the day making a positive impact in the world is what really matters," she wrote on her official social media page.
