Miss Grand Indonesia 2022 is Andina Julie


After some deliberation and close interview with some contestants, Miss Grand Indonesia national director Ivan Gunawan appointed Andina Julie as Miss Grand Indonesia 2022.

The 21-year-old model and singer from South Sumatra will represent her country at the Miss Grand International 2022 competition later this year.

Andina succeeds Miss Grand Indonesia 2021 and Miss Grand International Top 10 finalist Sophia Rogan. Her official crowning ceremony will take place this February with the new crown.

Miss Wales 2022 is Darcey Corria, first woman of color to win the pageant

Darcey Corria bested 19 other finalists to be crowned Miss Wales 2022 in a glittering competition held at The Riverfront in Newport on Sunday, May 8. The 21-year-old model and advocate from Barry was born to a white mother and a father of Jamaican heritage. She became the first-ever woman of color to win the Miss Wales pageant. Chepstow's Zoe Scrimshaw and Bridgend's Catrin Harries were the first and second runners-up, respectively. The new Miss Wales volunteers for Race Equality First and helps women from black, Asian, and minority ethnic backgrounds in the community through health and fitness. She has also been actively involved in the Criminal Justice in Wales Anti-Racism Delivery Plan called Together Stronger. Chinese-Canadian Amelia Tu triumphed over 50 other contestants to be crowned Miss Universe Canada 2022 in a national competition held on Thursday, May 14 at the Meridian Arts Centre in Toronto. The 20-year-old biology and business student at Universe of California, Berkeley hails from Vancouver, BC. She succeeds Tamara Jemuovic and will represent Canada at the Miss Universe 2022 pageant later this year. Madison Kvaltin was named first runner-up while Yuliya Shcherban finished second runner-up. Sophie Church and Oceanne Gemme-Rose were the third and fourth runners-up, respectively. Nguyen Huynh Kim Duyen to represent Vietnam at Miss Supranational 2022

Nguyen Huynh Kim Duyen has been officially announced to represent Vietnam at the Miss Supranational 2022 pageant in Poland. The 26-year-old business administration graduate from Can Tho was named Miss Universe Vietnam 2021 in May last year and recently joined the 70th Miss Universe competition in Israel where she placed in the Top 16. "I’m so proud to wear Miss Supranational Vietnam 2022 sash on my shoulder. Thank you for all your love and support," she shared on her official social media account. The newly appointed Miss Supranational Vietnam has proudly co-founded the Spreading the Love foundation which aims to assist disadvantaged students to continue pursuing education dreams.
