Mister Supranational Mexico 2022 is Moisés Peñaloza of Tamaulipas

Moisés Peñaloza was named Mister Supranational Mexico 2022 in a national competition held at the Teatro Galerías in Guadalajara, Jalisco on Sunday, June 12. The 30-year-old electronics engineer, who hails from Tamaulipas, is an actor, TV host, and athlete. He bested 26 other contestants to win his title. Said Reza of Coahuila and Felipe Alvarez of Veracruz were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while the representatives of Tlaxcala, Paco Flores, and Jalisco, Jesus Esparza completed the Top 5 finalists. Irma Miranda, representative of the state of Sonora, was crowned Mexicana Universal 2022 (Miss Universe Mexico 2022) at the Centro de Convenciones de San Luis Potosí (San Luis Potosi Convention Center) on Saturday, May 21. The 25-year-old TV host and business administration graduate bested 31 other contestants to win her title. She succeeds Débora Hallal of Sinaloa and will represent Mexico at Miss Universe 2022 later this year. Itzía Garcia of Colima clinched the title Mexicana International 2023 (Miss International Mexico 2023) and will be sent to next year's Miss International pageant in Japan. Miss Mexico Organization has officially announced Regina González Salman as Miss Supranational Mexico 2022 on Thursday, February 10 via social media. The 19-year-old is a graphic designer and student of industrial engineering and business innovation. She was previously designated as Miss Quintana Roo and competed during last year's Miss Mexico where she placed as first runner-up. Regina will now prepare to represent her country at the Miss Supranational 2022 pageant, possibly to be held this July in Poland. The reigning Miss Universe from Mexico, Andrea Meza, toured around Israel ahead of the upcoming 70th Miss Universe competition to be held in the country this December. Her itinerary included a visit to holy sites in Jerusalem's Old City on Wednesday, November 17. Amid boycott calls and pressures on contestants, Israel pushes through its historic hosting of the Miss Universe pageant in Eilat. Over 70 beauties from around the world will soon arrive to compete for the prestigious title. According to Andrea, the pageant shouldn’t be politicized. The Mexican beauty will relinquish her crown on December 12 in the southern Israeli resort city. Wearing a black ensemble, the beauty queen arrived in her home country after over four hours flight from JFK in New York to Mexico City on Monday, July 5. Andrea Meza of Mexico was crowned as the 69th Miss Universe in a glittering competition held at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, USA on Sunday, May 16. She succeeds Zozibini Tunzi of South Africa. The 26-year-old beauty who hails from Chihuahua bested 73 other delegates from around the world to win the third Miss Universe title for her country. She previously placed first runner-up at Miss World 2017 pageant. Julia Gama of Brazil was named first runner-up while Janick Maceta of Peru finished second runner-up.
