Miss Michigan USA 2024 is Alma Cooper

Miss Okemos, Alma Cooper was crowned Miss Michigan USA 2024 on Sunday, April 21 at McMorran Entertainment Center in Port Huron, Michigan. The 22-year-old scholar, advocate and US Army officer will now prepare to represent Michigan at Miss USA 2024 in Hollywood, California this August. Alma holds a bachelor of science degree in mathematics from the United States Military Academy at West Point. The second lieutenant officer is also a Knight-Hennessy Scholar, currently pursuing her master's degree in data science at Stanford University in California. She succeeds last year's winner, Alexis Fagan-Williams. Miss Michigan USA 2023 is Alexis Fagan-Williams

Alexis Fagan-Williams, representing Motown, was crowned Miss Michigan USA 2023 on Saturday, June 3 at the McMorran Place Sports & Entertainment Center in Port Huron. The 22-year-old psychology graduate from Detroit succeeds Aria Hutchinson and will now prepare to represent Michigan at Miss USA 2023 in Reno, Nevada. "Words cannot express how grateful I am to have won the title of Miss Michigan USA 2023. I want to thank everyone who has helped me on this long journey to the crown. It means the world to have such an amazing support system behind me," she wrote in a statement on social media. Her court of runners-up includes Sidnei Austin of Somerset, Alexandria Kelly of South Canton, Sabrina Ramos of Dearborn, Michele Lewandoski of Norton Shores, and Victoria Singleton of Macomb County. Former Miss Michigan USA Taylor Hale named winner of 'Big Brother 24'

Just in case you missed it, former Miss Michigan USA Taylor Hale won "Big Brother 24" and a total cash prize of $800,000 during its season 24 finale on Sunday, September 25 on CBS. The 27-year-old beauty from West Bloomfield made history twice in one night by becoming the first-ever black woman to win the American television reality competition show and at the same time the first-ever winner to be named America's Favorite Player (AFP). Taylor was crowned Miss Michigan USA 2021 and went on to represent the state of Michigan at the 70th Miss USA on November 29 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She failed to make it to the Top 16 but she bagged the Miss Congeniality award.
