Miss USA 2024 is Alma Cooper of Michigan


Michigan's Alma Cooper was crowned Miss USA 2024 during the national final on Sunday, August 4 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, California.

The 22-year-old scholar, advocate and US Army officer bested 50 other contestants to become the 73rd Miss USA. She will represent the USA at Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico this November.

Alma is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point with a bachelor's degree in mathematics.

The US Army second lieutenant officer and a Knight-Hennessy Scholar is currently pursuing her master's degree in data science at Stanford University in California.

She's the fourth woman from Michigan to win Miss USA after Carole Gist (1990), Kenya Summer Moore (1993), and Rima Fakih (2010).

This year's pageant was hosted by Emmy Award-winning TV personality and bestselling author Keltie Knight with Haitian-born actress and executive producer Garcelle Beauvais.

The new Miss USA received the new crown by Mexican crown and jewelry Ricardo Patraca from Miss USA 2023 Savannah Gankiewicz of Hawaii.

Her bouquet of flowers was handed to her by Miss USA 2022 Morgan Romano of North Carolina.

Miss Universe Belize 2025 is Isabella Zabaneh

Isabella Zabaneh was crowned Miss Universe Belize 2025 in a national competition held Saturday, June 28 at Belize City Civic Center. The 21-year-old beauty succeeds last year's winner Halima Hoy and will now prepare to represent Belize at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. Monisha Hyde and Hope Panton were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. The rest of the finalists were Imani Jex and Libny Rodriguez. The new Miss Universe Belize was born in Texas, USA, and holds an associate degree in political science and a bachelor in international studies. Pastry chef and model Swann Lavigne from France was proclaimed Mister Supranational 2025 on Saturday, June 28 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Poland. The 25-year-old bested 37 other contestants to win the international male pageant. He succeeds last year's winner Fezile Mkhize from South Africa. Zuemerik Veeris of Curacao, Mauricio Calvo of Mexico, Michael Mazi of Nigeria and Kenneth Vincent Cabungcal of the Philippines were named the first, second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Julia Ann Cluett, representing Floriana, was crowned Miss Universe Malta 2025 on Thursday, July 3 at Hilton Malta in St Julian's. She edged out 16 other contestants to win the national title. The 27-year-old HR and office coordinator will now prepare to represent Malta at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. She succeeds last year's winner Beatrice Njoya. Fatima Koné was crowned Miss Côte d'Ivoire 2025 in a national competition held on Saturday, June 28 in Abidjan. The 23-year-old beauty, representing the region on Hambol, edged out 29 other contestants to win the coveted national title. Diane Gouano of N'Zi and Marie-Axelle Gbogou of Folon were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. Miss Supranational 2025, the 16th edition of the Miss Supranational pageant, was held on Friday, June 27 at Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Poland. Eduarda Braum, a 25-year-old presenter, model and influencer from Brazil, bested 65 other contestants to win the international competition. She became the first Brazilian woman to become Miss Supranational. Michaela Tomanová was crowned Miss Universe Czech Republic 2025 (Miss Universe Czechia) on Wednesday, June 25 at Chateau de Frontiere in Hlohovec. The 27-year-old mother, model and scientist from Prague will represent the Czech Republic at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this November. Miss Lebanon 2024 first runner-up Sarah Leena Boujaoude has recently been officially appointed as Miss Universe Lebanon 2025. The 20-year-old fashion model and a finance student at the American University of Beirut will represent Lebanon at Miss Universe 2025. "My cause is to empower women by promoting self-acceptance and inner beauty," shared the new Miss Universe Lebanon.
