Miss Earth Japan 2023 is Kirari Oshiro of Okinawa

Kirari Oshiro bested 22 other competitors to be crowned Miss Earth Japan 2023 in a national competition held on Thursday, August 3 at Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo. The 20-year-old university student representing Okinawa succeeds last year's winner Manae Matsumoto and will now prepare to represent her country at Miss Earth 2023 in Vietnam this December. Rounding out the Top 5 finalists were Haruna Kokubo of Tokyo (second place), Arisa Nagasaka of Osaka (third place), and Yume Kusunoki of Niigata (fourth place). Reigning Miss Earth Mina Sue Choi from Korea and former Miss Earth Fire Jareerat "Baitong" Petsom from Thailand were special guests at the event. Miss Earth Japan 2022 is Manae Matsumoto

Manae Matsumoto bested 24 other finalists to be crowned Miss Earth Japan 2022 on Tuesday, July 26 at Hotel Chinzanso in Tokyo. The 25-year-old beauty representing Saitama succeeds last year's winner Konatsu Yoshida and will now prepare to represent Japan at Miss Earth 2022 in the Philippines. Airi Higa of Okinawa, Narumi Ota of Hyogo, and Riko Kato of Kagawa were the rest of the Top 4 and were respectively named Miss Earth Japan Air, Water, and Fire. Photos: Miss Earth Japan

Miss Earth Japan 2021 is Konatsu Yoshida of Hokkaido

Miss Hokkaido, Konatsu Yoshida, was crowned Miss Earth Japan 2021 in a national pageant held on Tuesday, July 20 in Tokyo. The 26-year-old professional ballet dancer studied art in Berlin, Germany, and joined the Hamburg National Theatre. She aspires to become a model and actress in the future. Aomori's Haruka Miura placed second while Mari Fujita of Osaka and Rina Takehara of Tokyo completed the Top 4 finalists. They were named Miss Air, Water, and Fire, respectively. The new Miss Earth Japan bested 26 other finalists during the competition. She will now prepare to represent Japan at Miss Earth 2021 later this year. Last year's winner and Miss Earth 2020 Top 20 semi-finalist Anna Tode crowned her successor at the end of the event. Photo: Miss Earth Japan / Facebook
