Jordan-Louise Smith was crowned Miss Earth England 2023 in a special ceremony held on Saturday, October 7 at the Sican Restaurant & Lounge in London. The 25-year-old chartered accountant and eating disorder awareness advocate succeeds last year's titleholder Beth Rice and will now prepare to represent England at Miss Earth 2023 in Vietnam this December. Hailing from Fairfield Lane, Barrow-in-Furness, a coastal town in Cumbria, Jordan went to Lancaster University where she obtained a first-class honours degree in accounting and finance.  Since 2020, she has lived in Edinburgh, Scotland, to work within the banking and finance industry at one of the world's largest professional services firms where she uses her financial knowledge to provide advice to female entrepreneurs and small businesses.  After being diagnosed with a rare eating disorder three years ago, she made it her mission to raise awareness about the different types of eating disorders, and to educate about the ass

Miss Lancashire, Jessica Ashley Gagen from Skelmersdale bested 27 other finalists to be crowned Miss England 2022 on Monday, October 17 at the Holiday Inn Birmingham Airport. The 27-year-old model and aerospace engineering student at the University of Liverpool became the first redhead beauty to ever win the title in pageant history. She succeeds last year's winner Rehema Muthamia and will now prepare to represent England at the 71st Miss World pageant. Emily Cossey, 24, from Chelsea and Milly Everatt, 22, from Eastoft, Lincolnshire were announced as the first and second runners-up, respectively. The new Miss England who also bagged the Dentakay Brightest Smile Award is no stranger to pageantry. She already participated in last year's pageant and placed first runner-up. Miss England 2022 grand final will be held this Monday, October 17 at the Lancaster Suite of the Holiday Inn Birmingham Airport, Birmingham. Thirty-one beauties from across England are currently vying for the coveted title. Miss Bedforshire, Rehema Muthamia was crowned Miss England 2021 in a glittering competition held at the Heart of England Conference and Event Centre in Coventry last Friday, August 27. The 25-year-old genetics graduate of the University of Sussex grew up in Kenya and speaks four languages. She is advocating against domestic abuse of women in her Beauty with a Purpose project. Miss Lancashire, Jessica Gagen and Miss Worcester, Erin Smith were the first and second runners-up, respectively. The new Miss England succeeds Bhasha Mukherjee, an NHS doctor who won the national title in 2019.
