Miss England 2024 is Milla Magee from Newquay


Milla Magee was crowned Miss England 2024 (Miss World England) on Friday, May 17 at The Grand Station in Wolverhampton.

The 23-year-old qualified beach lifeguard from Newquay, Cornwall bested 39 other contestants to win the national title.

She received the crown from her predecessor, the 71st Miss World Top 8 finalist who was awarded the titles Miss World Europe and Miss United Kingdom Jessica Ashley Gagen.

Charlotte Grant from Liverpool was named first runner-up while Melissa Butcher from Lancaster finished as the second runner-up.

According to her bio, the first-ever "plus-sized" Miss England is passionate about conservation and lifesaving.

She went to the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) where she finished with a distinction, has a diploma in Greek Mythology, and can speak Latin.

Milla has founded #GoFarWithCPR to advocate for basic life-saving and CPR training skills in local schools and workplaces, and eventually nationwide.

Milla will now prepare to represent England at the 72nd Miss World whose date and venue have yet to be announced.

Bea Millan-Windorski of La Union was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2026 during the final of the national pageant on Saturday, May 2 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. The 24-year-old Filipino-American beauty succeeded Maria Ahtisa Manalo from Quezon Province. She will represent the Philippines at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant, which is set to take place in Puerto Rico later this year. The coronation ball for The Miss Philippines 2026 took place on Sunday, May 10, at the Grand Ballroom in City of Dreams Manila. Nadia Mejia-Webb, representing Comunidad USA, was crowned Miss Universe Ecuador 2025 in a national competition held on Saturday, July 26 at Palacio de Cristal in Guayaquil. Patthama Jitsawat, representing the Thai province of Chonburi, was crowned Miss Grand Thailand 2026 on Saturday, March 28 at MGI Hall in Bangkok. The 32-year-old beauty edged out 76 other contestants to win the national competition. She succeeds last year's winner Sarunrat Puagpipat of Phuket. Guatemala's Camila Riveiro was awarded Mejor Traje Tipico (Best in National Costume) during the Reina Hispanoamericana 2022 national costume competition held on Sunday, March 19 in Porongo, Bolivia. Following the arrival of the 29 contestants vying for Reina Hispanoamericana 2022, an official presentation took place on Monday, March 13 at the Radisson Hotel in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. Standouts were the representatives of Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Equatorial Guinea, Haiti, Mexico, Nicaragua, Peru, and the USA.
