Miss Tahiti 2023 is Ravahere Silloux for Miss France 2024

Ravahere Silloux was crowned Miss Tahiti 2023 on Friday, June 23 at the Mairie de Papeete in French Polynesia. The 24-year-old model and digital marketing student from Papeete bested nine other competitors to win the title. She is of Tahitian, Chinese, and German descent, speaks French and English, and enjoys traveling and interior designing. Teipotemarama Cabral (23) and Poeiti Yule-Poroi (23) were named the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Korail Vernaudon (24) clinched the title of Miss Heiva 2023. Hinarere Taputu (Miss Tahiti 2014 and Miss France 2015 first runner-up) and Matahari Bousquet (Miss Tahiti 2019) hosted the event. Ravahere succeeds last year's winner Herenui Tuheiava and will now prepare to represent Tahiti at Miss France 2024 this December. Miss Elegance France 2023 is Charlotte Brique

Miss Elegance Franche-Comté Charlotte Brique was crowned Miss Elegance France 2023 (Miss Earth France) in a glittering national final held on Saturday, January 28 in Albi, Tarn. The 24-year-old communications graduate from Belfort bested 21 other competitors to win her national title. She is expected to represent France at Miss Earth 2023 in Vietnam later this year. Miss Elegance Gascogne (Inès Sanchez-Isser), Nord-Pas-de-Calais (Alyssa Verhenne), Alsace (Chrislène Largen), and Midi-Pyrénées (Eva Mariotto) were announced the first, second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Last year's winner who competed in Miss Earth 2022 last November in the Philippines, Alison Carrasco, relinquished her reign and pass the crown to her successor at the end of the event. Miss France 2023 is Indira Ampiot of Guadeloupe

Indira Ampiot of Guadeloupe was crowned Miss France 2023 on Saturday, December 17 at M.A.CH 36 in Châteauroux, Centre-Val de Loire. The 18-year-old beauty from Basse-Terre beat 29 other contestants representing various French regions and departments to become the fourth woman from Guadeloupe to win the national title. She received the new crown from her predecessor Diane Leyre of Île-de-France. Agathe Cauet of  Nord-Pas-de-Calais was named first runner-up while Marion Navarro of Franche-Comté, Axelle René of Martinique, and Alissia Ladevèze of Auvergne were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Prior to winning Miss France, the new queen won the title of Miss Basse-Terre and Miss Guadeloupe 2022. Miss France 2023 kicks off pageant activities in Guadeloupe

The pre-pageant activities for the 30 contestants vying for the highly coveted Miss France 2023 have officially begun.  They arrived in Guadeloupe on Monday, November 21 for their traditional preparation trip that involves photoshoots, press meetings, catwalk exercises, and etiquette courses, among others. Joining them were Miss France organization's President and CEO Alexia Laroche-Joubert, former national director Sylvie Tellier, new national director Cindy Fabre and reigning queen Diane Leyre. As part of the Miss France pageant tradition, the contestants representing various French regions and departments also have to take the 'culture générale' (general culture) test. Miss France 2023 will broadcast on December 17 live on TF1 from M.A.CH 36 in Châteauroux, Centre-Val de Loire. It will be the host city's second time holding the national pageant after the 2018 edition. Miss France 2020 Clémence Botino has been officially announced on Tuesday, October 11 to represent France at the 71st Miss World pageant. Hailing from Guadeloupe, the 25-year-old island beauty was crowned Miss Guadeloupe 2019 prior to winning the prestigious Miss France pageant. She was sent to Miss Universe 2021 in Israel last December and managed to place in the Top 10 among 80 contestants. Miss France 2022 first runner-up Floriane Bascou has been officially announced on Tuesday, October 11 to represent France at the 71st Miss Universe pageant. In an official statement, the reigning Miss France Diane Leyre revealed the reason she will not be able to participate in Miss Universe is "due to lack of time and preparation" after crowning her successor at Miss France 2023 in December. The newly appointed Miss Universe France is 20 years old and hails from Le Lamentin, a city in the French overseas department and region of Martinique. After 17 years, former Miss France Sylvie Tellier has officially announced her departure from the Miss France organization. The 44-year-old took to social media on Wednesday, August 31 to make a public statement on her decision to leave, which was made "with a lot of emotion because you don't leave a company after 17 years without memories in your head." Sylvie then went to the show "Touche Pas à Mon Poste" (TPMP) to talk more about it. Diane Leyre, representing the northern Ile-de-France region, was crowned Miss France 2022 in a glittering national final held on Saturday, December 11 at the Zenith in Caen. The 24-year-old international trade graduate bested 28 other beauties to win the beauty title. She succeeds Amandine Petit of Normandy and became the 16th woman from her region to win Miss France. Miss Universe France Clémence Botino tests positive for COVID-19 in Israel

Miss Universe France Clémence Botino will be isolated for 10 days after testing positive for COVID-19 upon arrival in Israel. The 24-year-old beauty who hails from Guadeloupe came to Israel to participate in the 70th Miss Universe pageant to be held on December 12. Unfortunately, her test results came back positive for the viral infection.  In a statement shared on her social media account, she said: "I was shocked and sad, it is truly hard. I'm a really positive person and I work really hard, and the past two years have been tough." "Even if it is hard I won't give up. Life has brought me to Israel and everything is ready. Amandine Petit has been officially confirmed to represent France at the 69th Miss Universe pageant in Florida, USA this May. She was crowned Miss France 2021 last December. She also revealed that Miss France 2020 from Guadeloupe, Clémence Botino, will instead compete in another edition of Miss Universe later this year.
