Miss Universe Germany 2022 is Soraya Kohlmann

Soraya Kohlmann was crowned Miss Universe Germany 2022 in a casting event held on Saturday, July 2 at Holiday Inn Hotel Düsseldorf-Neuss. The 24-year-old former Miss Germany (2017) and business owner who hails from Leipzig succeeds last year's titleholder Hannah Seifer. She will now prepare to represent her country at Miss Universe 2022. Mona Schafnitzl and Roxanna Saiedeh were the rest of the Top 3 finalists while Jelena Tontic and Maren Tschinkel completed the Top 5. "So proud and thankful to represent my country at the Miss Universe competition this year. I still can’t believe it. It’s like a dream come true having the opportunity to raise my voice on such a huge platform," the new Miss Universe Germany shared on social media. Germany has yet to win its second Miss Universe title next to Marlene Schmidt (Miss Universe 1961). The country's last placement was Top 10 with Natascha Börger in 2002. Miss Germany 2022 is Domitila Barros

Domitila Barros bested nine other finalists to win Miss Germany 2022 competition at Europa-Park Arena in Rust, Baden on Saturday, February 19. The 37-year-old Berlin resident holds a master's degree in politics and social sciences. She is an entrepreneur, green influencer, activist, and actress who hails from northern Brazil. Miss Germany no longer considers itself as a beauty pageant. It has redefined itself two years ago to anchor female empowerment in the mainstream, provide an inclusive platform where individuality and diversity are paramount, and establish a movement for a better tomorrow. This year's final competition, themed "The Female Celebration" was participated by a diverse set of contestants including its first-ever transgender finalist. Miss Supranational Germany 2022 is Sabrina-Merlina Binder

Miss Supranational Germany 2022 title was won by Sabrina-Merlina Binder in a national competition held on January 7 at Potsdamer Platz in Berlin. The 25-year-old Filipino-German beauty from Munich bested seven other finalists to win her national title. She will now prepare to represent Germany at Miss Supranational 2022 competition, possibly later this year, in Poland.
