Miss Universe Germany 2024 is Pia Theissen


Pia Theissen was crowned Miss Universe Germany 2024 on Sunday, April 28 at Living Hotel de Medici in Düsseldorf.

The 25-year-old social worker, occupational therapist and yoga teacher from Cologne will now prepare to represent Germany at Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico later this year.

Annabelle Keller and Ilke Filiz were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Angelina Matic, Jennifer Monreal, and Tatjana Genrich rounded out the Top 6 finalists.

Miss Universe Netherlands' national director Milou Verhoeks, reigning Miss Denmark Nikoline Uhrenholt Hansen, and former Miss Universe Germany Soraya Kohlmann were among the judges.

The new Miss Universe Germany succeeds last year's winner Helena Bleicher, who participated in Miss Universe 2023 last November in El Salvador.

Pia is multilingual, fluent in English, German, and Spanish. Over the past 3 years, she has traveled to more than 24 countries, making Spain, Colombia, Mexico, Thailand, and the USA her temporary home.

Her journey began in the field of occupational therapy, where she focused on supporting the well-being, health, and relationships of children both at school and at home.

As a yoga teacher, Pia empowers women to find confidence, balance, and inner strength. She firmly believes that every woman possesses the inherent power to overcome past hardships and conquer the challenges of life. Through love and mindfulness, she guides women to believe in themselves and manifest their dreams.

Currently, Pia is immersing herself in the world of music to become a DJ, while also honing her Spanish skills at a university in Latin America.

Former Miss World France Ophély Mézino was crowned Miss Universe Guadeloupe 2025 in a special coronation ceremony held on Saturday, July 12. The 26-year-old model succeeds last year's titleholder Coraly Desplan and will now prepare to represent Guadeloupe at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this November. Ornella Millitie was named first runner-up while Océane Millitie, Judith Brumant-Lachoua, and Madly Marian were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Lao-Kiwi Abbigail Sturgin was crowned Miss Universe New Zealand 2025 on Tuesday, June 24 at the SkyCity Theatre in Auckland. The 28-year-old police officer succeeds last year's winner Victoria Velasquez Vincent and will represent New Zealand at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. Raschel Alexandra Paz Archila, representing Ciudad Capital, was crowned Miss Universe Guatemala 2025 in a national competition held on Saturday, July 12 in the city of Quetzaltenango. The 24-year-old model will now prepare to represent Guatemala at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. She succeeds last year's winner Ana Gabriela Villanueva. Nathalie Yasmin Mogbelzada, representing Noord-Holland, was proclaimed the winner of Miss Universe Netherlands 2025 on Saturday, July 5 at Studio 21 in Hilversum. Miss Universe Guatemala 2025 recently kicked off in Guatemala City with the official presentation of the 24 contestants vying for the crown. The national final will be held this July in Quetzaltenango where the reigning Miss Universe Victoria Kjær Theilvig from Denmark is expected to visit as a special guest. The 27-year-old HR and office coordinator will now prepare to represent Malta at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. She succeeds last year's winner Beatrice Njoya.
