Susana Medina was crowned Miss Grand Spain 2024 in a glittering competition held on Saturday, May 11 at Theatre Municipal Horacio Noguera, Isla Cristina, Huelva. The 25-year-old representative of Las Palmas bested 34 other contestants to win the national title. She succeeds last year's winner Celia Sevilla and will now represent Spain at Miss Grand International 2024. Idayra Tena of Tenerife was named first runner-up while Adriana Corpas of Tarragona, Luana Gheban of Albacete, and Esther Escudero of Euskadi were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. The Top 10 were María Llamas of Andalusia, Rocio Mengual of Córdoba, Gema Adrover of Mediterranean, Mayka Rodríguez of Seville, and Ainhoa Gallego of Toledo. Rounding out the Top 15 were Julia Guerrero of Atlántico, Alina Farcas of Castellón, Yaneisy Ceballos of Costa Canaria, Valentina Pereira of La Rioja, and Daniela Quintero of Murcia. The 25-year-old model, influencer, designer and business owner hailing from Liberec will now prepare to represent the Czech Republic at Miss Grand International 2024 in Myanmar this October. Rounding out the Top 5 finalists were Petra Beníšková, Adéla Štroffeková, Julie Smékalová, and Alina Demenťjeva. Malin Chara-anan, representing Phuket, was crowned Miss Grand Thailand 2024 in a glittering event held on Saturday, April 6 at MGI Hall in Bangkok. The 27-year-old beauty triumphed over 70 other contestants to win the national title. She will represent Thailand at Miss Grand International 2024 in Myanmar this October. Kanyaphatsaphon Rungrueang of Pathum Thani was named first runner-up while Kittiyaporn Fungmee of Chumphon, Thansita Dilhokananskul of Lampang, and Aoratai Phangchan of Maha Sarakham were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. The contestants from Bangkok, Yuwaporn Songngam; Chai Nat, Phoraphak Worasophonphakdee; Phichit, Piyarada Wayuwech; Sakon Nakhon, Napapat Rungroj; Saraburi, Suntaree Uan-inth; and Satun, Emma Martini were announced as fifth runners-up. The Miss Grand International Organization officially announced Myanmar as the host country for the Miss Grand International 2024 competition. The special announcement was made during the final show of the Miss Grand International 2023 on Wednesday, October 25 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Myanmar (formerly Burma) is a Southeast Asian nation of more than 100 ethnic groups, bordering India, Bangladesh, China, Laos, and Thailand. Known as the Land of the Golden Pagodas.
