Following their visit to Hanoi's Ngoc Son Temple and the Temple of Literature wearing the traditional Vietnamese dress ao dai, the contestants vying for Miss Grand International 2023 had their official welcome dinner. Sponsored by Staynex, the glittering red-carpet event was held on Thursday, October 5 at the Lotte Hanoi Sky and was streamed live on the Grand TV official YouTube channel. Kornelia Gołębiewska was officially announced on Thursday, October 5 by the Miss Polonia organization as Miss Grand Poland 2023. The 23-year-old beauty was named the second runner-up during the Miss Polonia 2023 final show held at the Nosalowy Dwór Resort & Spa in Zakopane last June. She succeeds Natalia Gryglewska and will now head to Hanoi, Vietnam for Miss Grand International 2023 whose final is set for October 25. Miss Grand International 2023: Top 5 pre-arrival vote winners announced

The Top 5 winners of the pre-arrival voting conducted on social media for Miss Grand International 2023 have been announced on Wednesday, October 4. They were the representatives from Vietnam (Le Hoang Phuong), Myanmar (Ni Ni Lin Eain), Colombia (María Alejandra López), Brazil (Adriana Yanca) and Indonesia (Ritassya Wellgreat). As a prize, the beauty queens were treated to a special dinner in an authentic Japanese restaurant Momiji in Hanoi, Vietnam. Present with them were the reigning Miss Grand International Isabella Menin from Brazil, MGI President Nawat Itsaragrisil, and Vice President Teresa Chaivisut. Miss Grand International 2023 contestants arrive in Hanoi, Vietnam

The contestants vying for the coveted title of Miss Grand International 2023 started arriving at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi, Vietnam this week. Most of them have already checked into the Grand K Hotel Suites to commence their exciting three-week-long personal journey to the gold crown. Their first scheduled activities include a sightseeing tour around the Vietnamese capital city. The tour will be followed by the much-awaited welcome gala dinner happening this Thursday, October 5 at their official residence hotel. Five winners from the pre-arrival social media voting, which is still ongoing until 5 p.m. (Hanoi time) on Wednesday, October 4, will have a special dinner with MGI President Nawat Itsragrisil. The 11th Miss Grand International competition will culminate on October 25 at the Phú Thọ Indoor Stadium, Ho Chi Minh City. Isabella Menin of Brazil will crown her successor at the end of the event. 2023 major international pageant's final schedules

After the conclusion of Miss Supranational 2023 with Ecuador's Andrea Aguilera winning the title in Małopolska, Poland, there are five more international events to watch out for this year. The last three months of the year will be packed with prestigious beauty pageants taking place in Vietnam, Japan, El Salvador, and India. Miss Grand International 2023, the 11th Miss Grand International, will take place this October 25 at the Phú Thọ Indoor Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The next day (October 26), Miss International will hold its 61st edition (Miss International 2023) in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan. Come November, Miss Universe 2023, the 72nd Miss Universe pageant will be held in San Salvador, El Salvador with the final date recently announced as November 18. Yeniffer Campos was crowned Miss Portuguesa 2023 in a glittering national competition on Saturday, September 16 at Cine-Teatro Messias in Mealhada. The 33-year-old personal trainer and Zumba instructor from Oeiras bested 11 other finalists to win the national title. Sophia Lodmell, 21, from New York, and Ana Luísa Silva, 16, from Lisbon, were announced as the first and second runners-up, respectively. The former Miss Utah USA and the first openly LGBTQ+ contestant at Miss USA, recently placed as the second runner-up at Miss Grand United States 2023 pageant in Chicago, Illinois. As a strong advocate for mental health and inclusivity, she is the founder of the "I Am Why Project" and the non-profit "Feelings Are Human" to create a positive impact in her community. The 27-year-old nature conservationist was crowned Miss Bonaire 2022 at the Courtyard by Marriott Bonaire Dive Resort in Kralendijk last December. Uzbekistan, a Central Asian nation and former Soviet republic, is set to debut at the Miss Grand International pageant this year with the recently announced Miss Grand Uzbekistan 2023 Amaliya Shakirova. The 28-year-old beauty hailing from Tashkent and currently based in the Philippines was officially crowned on Sunday, September 3 by Miss Grand Uzbekistan national director Olinda Cho in a special ceremony held at Luxent Hotel in Quezon City. The schedule of events and activities for Miss Grand International 2023 has been officially announced by Miss Grand International Organization on Monday, September 4. Around 70 contestants from around the world are expected to arrive on October 3 and will be checking in to Grand K Hotel Suites in Hanoi, Vietnam. More than three weeks of jam-packed pre-pageant activities await them including photoshoots, a welcome gala dinner, sightseeing tours, rehearsals, preliminary events, and more. For the first time, the organization introduces the Grand Voice Award to showcase beauties with incredible singing voice talent. An audition will happen on October 8, round two on October 17, and the final is set for October 22. The highly-anticipated annual swimsuit competition will be on October 12 in Da Nang while the national costume competition on October 20, the preliminary competition on October 22, and the grand coronation show on October 25 will take place at the Phú Thọ Indoor Stadium in Ho Chi

Eugénia das Neves was crowned Miss Grand Angola 2023 in a national competition held on Saturday, September 2 at the Epic Sana Hotel in Luanda. The 24-year-old mechanical engineering graduate from Luanda is currently working as an administrative assistant. She succeeds last year's titleholder Teresa Sara and will represent Angola at Miss Grand International 2023 in Vietnam this October. Jacira Saiombo and Airania Dias were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Roberta Capule Paulo and Angélica Varela rounded out the Top 5 finalists.
