FAVORITES: Miss Grand International 2023 welcome dinner by Staynex

Following their visit to Hanoi's Ngoc Son Temple and the Temple of Literature wearing the traditional Vietnamese dress ao dai, the contestants vying for Miss Grand International 2023 had their official welcome dinner.

Sponsored by Staynex, the glittering red-carpet event was held on Thursday, October 5 at the Lotte Hanoi Sky and was streamed live on the Grand TV official YouTube channel.

The hosts of the night were reigning Miss Grand International Isabella Menin and Miss Grand Vietnam 2022 second runner-up Truong Qui Minh Nhan.

Over 60 contestants who have arrived in the host country so far strutted the runway and gave fans a glimpse of what to expect in the next three weeks — glitz and glamour.

Standouts were Bolivia, Bonaire, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Czech Republic, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, India, Indonesia, Mexico, Myanmar, Netherlands, Nigeria, Peru, Philippines, Puerto Rico, South Africa, Spain, Thailand, United States, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam.

Miss Universe Venezuela 2025 is Clara Vegas of Miranda

Clara Vegas triumphed over 21 other contestants to win the title of Miss Universe Venezuela 2025 on Thursday, December 4 in Caracas. The 23-year-old model and actress from Miranda will represent Venezuela at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant to be held in Puerto Rico. Maria Evangelista Alayon of Amazonas was named first runner-up while Milena Paola Soto of Mérida, Gabriela de la Cruz of Yaracuy, and Gabriela Villegas of Monagas were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Completing the Top 12 were the representatives of  Barinas, Anabelly Ojeda, Bolívar, Yosdanny Navarro, Delta Amacuro, Kelly Maita, Dependencias Federales, Valentina Martínez, Portuguesa, Génesis Mendoza, Sucre, Rosangel Mundaraín, and Táchira, Valeria del Amor. The highly anticipated official presentation of the 24 contestants vying for Miss Venezuela 2022 took place on Saturday, November 10 in Caracas. Hosted by "Súper Sábado Sensacional" presenter Henrys Silva, the special show aired on Venevisión with simultaneous live streaming on missvenezuela.tv . The reigning queens, Miss Venezuela 2021 Amanda Dudamel, Miss Venezuela World 2021 Ariagny Daboin, and Miss International Venezuela 2020 Isbel Parra were also present for the sashing ceremony. 70th Miss Universe contestants tour Jerusalem old city in Israel

Despite imposing travel restrictions due to the Omicron coronavirus variant, Israel's hosting of the 70th Miss Universe pageant is pushing through. The contestants were taken to a tour of Jerusalem's old city on Tuesday, November 30 in their sneakers, pantsuits, and cocktail dresses. They visited some notable landmarks in the city such as the Tower of David Museum and Jerusalem Botanical Gardens. Their final itinerary of the day was a tea party at King David Hotel where they met with important persons such as Mayor Moshe Lion, local female politicians, and heads of organizations that fight poverty and violence against women. Over 70 beauties are expected to continue their journey to the Miss Universe crown in Eilat next week where they will go through a series of pre-pageant activities and preliminary competitions prior to the final on December 12. Miss France 2026 is Hinaupoko Devèze from Tahiti

Hinaupoko Devèze from Tahiti was crowned Miss France 2026 on Saturday, December 6 at the Zénith d'Amiens in Amiens, Hauts-de-France. The 23-year-old model bested 29 other contestants to win the prestigious national pageant. She succeeds Angélique Angarni-Filopon from Martinique. Juliette Collet of Nouvelle-Calédonie was named first runner-up while Victoire Dupuis of Normandie, Naomi Torrent of Guadeloupe, and Déborah Adelin-Chabal of Roussillon placed second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. The final group of national finalists for Miss Universe Australia 2024 was revealed during the South Australia state final on Monday, April 8 at Feathers Hotel in Burnside. Three beauties have been selected to represent South Australia at the national competition in August. They are Courtney Spear, Olivija Spanovskis, and Belinda Lesi. Gia Soleil Espinoza of Texas was crowned Miss Earth USA 2026 in a national competition held on Saturday, January 3 at Rosen Centre in Orlando, Florida. The 20-year-old criminal justice major and third-generation business owner from El Paso succeeds last year's winner Haley Poe. She will represent the USA at Miss Earth 2026 later this year.
