Miss Grand International 2023 schedule of events and activities announced


The schedule of events and activities for Miss Grand International 2023 has been officially announced by Miss Grand International Organization on Monday, September 4.

Around 70 contestants from around the world are expected to arrive on October 3 and will be checking in to Grand K Hotel Suites in Hanoi, Vietnam.

More than three weeks of jam-packed pre-pageant activities await them including photoshoots, a welcome gala dinner, sightseeing tours, rehearsals, preliminary events, and more.

For the first time, the organization introduces the Grand Voice Award to showcase beauties with incredible singing voice talent. An audition will happen on October 8, round two on October 17, and the final is set for October 22.

The highly-anticipated annual swimsuit competition will be on October 12 in Da Nang while the national costume competition on October 20, the preliminary competition on October 22, and the grand coronation show on October 25 will take place at the Phú Thọ Indoor Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City.

This year's pageant will be the second edition to be hosted in Vietnam, the land of the grand culture. Reigning Miss Grand International from Brazil, Isabella Menin, will crown her successor at the end of the event.

Miss Connecticut USA 2025 is Jenna Hofmann

Miss Fairfield USA Jenna Hofmann was crowned Miss Connecticut USA 2025 on Sunday, January 26 at the Marriott Hartford Windsor Airport in Windsor, Connecticut. The 23-year-old real estate professional, originally from New York, will now prepare to represent Connecticut at the Miss USA 2025 pageant. She succeeds last year's winner Shavana Clarke. The Miss America 2025 final competition will be held this Sunday, January 5 at The Walt Disney Theater of the Dr. Phillips Center for Performing Arts in Orlando, Florida. You can watch the Miss America as well as Miss America's Teen 2025 preliminary competition, talent competition, gala fashion show, and finals live streaming on PageantVision.com   site. Miss Universe Sri Lanka 2024 is Melloney Dassanayake

Melloney Dassanayake was crowned Miss Universe Sri Lanka 2024 during the national competition held on Friday, September 27 at Citrus Waskaduwa. The 25-year-old banker and professional model from Colombo beat 17 other contestants to win the title and will now represent Sri Lanka at Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico this November. Sonali Silva was named first runner-up, while Prathibha Liyanaarachchi, Reshalee de Silva, and Chamanthi Bandara were the second, third, and fourth runners-up. 71st Miss World: Meet the delegates from Bolivia, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, Honduras and Venezuela

Over 20 beauties have already been confirmed as representatives of their respective countries and territories for the 71st Miss World edition. The final competition and official venue of the prestigious pageant are yet to be announced by the Miss World Organization. Reigning queen Karolina Bielawska of Poland, the second Polish to win Miss World, will crown her successor at the end of the event. Miss Universe Romania 2020 is Bianca Tirsin

Bianca Lorena Tirsin was officially named Miss Universe Romania 2020 on Tuesday, December 1 in a special announcement that aired on Romanian TV channel Antena Stars. The 21-year-old model and business administration student from Arad will represent her country at the 69th Miss Universe pageant to be held next year possibly in the USA. Miruna Alexandra Doldor, Pălimariu Diana Nicole, and Ada-Maria Ileana were the runners-up while Cristina Brudiu was named Miss Popularity Romania 2020. The new Miss Universe Romania is no stranger to pageantry. She placed second runner-up at Miss Supranational 2017 in Poland and third runner-up at Miss International 2018 in Japan. Makaʻala Perry to represent Hawaii at Miss International 2023

Makaʻala Perry is the newly appointed Miss International Hawaii 2023 and will represent the Aloha State at Miss International 2023 in Japan this October. The 24-year-old flight attendant, business owner, and musician was announced as Priscilla Wang's successor for the national title last month. Besides working for Hawaiian Airlines and running her own business called Sunbeams Creamery, a dessert shop located in Wahiawa, she is also pursuing her bachelor of arts degree in music at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. As a musician and hula dancer, she performs regularly doing seasonal shows at the Four Seasons Ko’olina and travels to Japan, Canada, and Taiwan sharing her love of music and dance. Miss Ohio USA 2023 is Mackenzie Schutt

Miss Central Ohio, Mackenzie Schutt was crowned Miss Ohio USA 2023 in a state competition held on Saturday, May 20 at The Vern Riffe Center for the Arts in Portsmouth. The 27-year-old model and personal trainer from Columbus holds a degree in kinesiology and exercise science from Calvin University (formerly Calvin College) in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Mackenzie joined the pageant several times before finally winning the title. She succeeds last year's winner and Miss USA 2022 third runner-up Sir'Quora Carroll, and will now represent the state of Ohio at Miss USA 2023 in Reno, Nevada this fall.
