The 26-year-old representative of Izabal succeeds last year's titleholder  María Ranee Díaz . She will travel to Tokyo, Japan for Miss International 2024 in November. Reigning Miss Taiwan, Oceana Ling-Kurie, has been officially appointed as Miss International Taiwan 2024. She succeeds Anita Wang, last year's titleholder. The 23-year-old actress and model, who was crowned Miss Taiwan 2023 in Taipei last December, will now represent her country at Miss International 2024. The Miss International 2024 competition has been announced to be held on November 12 in Tokyo, Japan. This year's pageant will mark the 62nd edition of the Japan-based international beauty pageant. Tokyo first hosted Miss International in 1968 after being held in the USA since its inauguration in 1960.
