Miss International Canada 2025 is Rachel Murgel from Toronto


Rachel Murgel bested nine other contestants to win Miss International Canada 2025 on Sunday, September 14 at Meridian Arts Centre in North York, Toronto.

The 24-year-old McMaster University alumna from Toronto, Ontario will represent Canada at the Miss International 2025 pageant in Tokyo, Japan this November.

Ariel Jingjing Cao and Patricia Rosalyn Seward were named the first and second runners-up, respectively.

The new Miss International Canada holds a bachelor's degree in arts and science, and a double minor in business and English literature.

Rachel became the first winner under the new Miss International Canada national director, "Big Brother Canada" star Sindy Nguyen.

No stranger to pageantry, she previously held the title of Miss Supranational Canada and went on to compete in Miss Supranational 2024 in Poland.

"Stepping into this experience was about honouring my story and amplifying my purpose. It was about standing confidently in who I am to show young women everywhere that they can do the same," she wrote online.

"This title is a reminder that when you show up as yourself, you've already won," she added.
