Miss International Canada 2025 is Rachel Murgel from Toronto


Rachel Murgel bested nine other contestants to win Miss International Canada 2025 on Sunday, September 14 at Meridian Arts Centre in North York, Toronto.

The 24-year-old McMaster University alumna from Toronto, Ontario will represent Canada at the Miss International 2025 pageant in Tokyo, Japan this November.

Ariel Jingjing Cao and Patricia Rosalyn Seward were named the first and second runners-up, respectively.

The new Miss International Canada holds a bachelor's degree in arts and science, and a double minor in business and English literature.

Rachel became the first winner under the new Miss International Canada national director, "Big Brother Canada" star Sindy Nguyen.

No stranger to pageantry, she previously held the title of Miss Supranational Canada and went on to compete in Miss Supranational 2024 in Poland.

"Stepping into this experience was about honouring my story and amplifying my purpose. It was about standing confidently in who I am to show young women everywhere that they can do the same," she wrote online.

"This title is a reminder that when you show up as yourself, you've already won," she added.

Miss Universe Paraguay 2026 is Gretha Matiauda

Former Miss Earth Paraguay Gretha Matiauda has recently been appointed as her country's official representative in the Miss Universe 2026 pageant. The 24-year-old beauty from Asunci贸n is an economist, international model and entrepreneur. She succeeds last year's titleholder Yanina G贸mez who made the Top 30 at Miss Universe 2025. Phan Phuong Oanh was proclaimed the winner of the Miss World Vietnam 2025 pageant held on Sunday, March 29 in Ho Chi Minh City. Miss Universe 2025, the 74th Miss Universe competition is set to take place on Friday, November 21 at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand. Reigning Miss Universe Victoria Kj忙r Theilvig from Denmark will hand over her crown to her successor at the conclusion of the event. The Miss Universe Organization has officially confirmed that Puerto Rico will be the host country for the Miss Universe 2026 pageant. Puerto Rican politician Jenniffer Gonz谩lez Col贸n also made an announcement in a conference held on Tuesday, September 23 in San Juan. The 75th Miss Universe edition will be held in November 2026 at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico Jos茅 Miguel Agrelot, the largest indoor entertainment and sports arena in Puerto Rico.
