Miss New Zealand 2024 is Samantha Poole

Samantha Poole bested 11 other finalists to be crowned Miss New Zealand 2024 (Miss International New Zealand 2024) on Sunday, May 5 at Bruce Mason Centre in Takapuna Beach. The 21-year-old model and digital design graduate of Auckland University of Technology will represent New Zealand at Miss International 2024 in Tokyo, Japan later this year. "What an incredible night. I'm so grateful for all the messages and kind words, thank you for all the support. It all still feels surreal, but everyone on that stage had worked so hard to be there," she wrote on social media. Rovelyn Milford was named first runner-up and Miss Supranational New Zealand 2025. She is expected to participate in Miss Supranational 2025 in Poland. Helen Morales was crowned Miss International Guatemala 2024 during the Miss Guatemala 2024 final on Wednesday, May 1 at Teatro Dick Smith in Guatemala City. The 26-year-old representative of Izabal succeeds last year's titleholder  María Ranee Díaz . She will travel to Tokyo, Japan for Miss International 2024 in November. Reigning Miss International Andrea Rubio from Venezuela was among the special guests at the glittering national competition. Guatemala first and last won the Miss International pageant 40 years ago, in 1984 with Ilma Urrutia. The country's last placement was in 1993 when Diana Lucrecia Galván Flores made it to the Top 10. Miss International Taiwan 2024 is Oceana Ling-Kurie

Reigning Miss Taiwan, Oceana Ling-Kurie, has been officially appointed as Miss International Taiwan 2024. She succeeds Anita Wang, last year's titleholder. The 23-year-old actress and model, who was crowned Miss Taiwan 2023 in Taipei last December, will now represent her country at Miss International 2024. Oceana is currently a graduate student at the National Taiwan Normal University's Graduate Institute of Performing Arts. According to Miss International, she is also an educator and a business consultant. In a post on social media, she expressed her excitement to participate on the international stage. She wrote, "Looking forward to not only sharing my heritage but also exploring Japan alongside sisters from all over the world." The 25-year-old marketing student, professional model, and digital content creator will head to Japan in November for Miss International 2024. No stranger to pageantry, April held the title Miss Universe Honduras 2017 and went on to compete in the 66th Miss Universe in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. Honduras was last represented at Miss International in 2022 with Zully Paz. The Top 40 vying for Binibining Pilipinas 2024 (Miss Philippines) have been officially revealed following the final screening on Friday, April 5 at New Frontier Theater in Araneta City, Cubao. This year's Binibining Pilipinas will be the 60th edition of the annual competition. The grand coronation night is expected to be held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum this June. Harashta Haifa Zahra, representing Jawa Barat, was crowned Puteri Indonesia 2024 last Friday, March 8 at the  Plenary Hall of the Jakarta Convention Center. The 20-year-old environmental engineering student bested more than 40 other contestants to win the title. She succeeds last year's winner  Farhana Nariswari. Rounding out the Top 4 finalists, Sophie Kirana Indriyagi, Ketut Permata Juliastrid Sari, and Melati Tedja were respectively crowned Puteri Indonesia Lingkungan 2024, Puteri Indonesia Pariwisata 2024, Puteri Indonesia Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan 2024. The Miss International 2024 competition has been announced to be held on November 12 in Tokyo, Japan. This year's pageant will mark the 62nd edition of the Japan-based international beauty pageant. Tokyo first hosted Miss International in 1968 after being held in the USA since its inauguration in 1960. The pageant has already been held in the Japanese capital numerous times including last year's remarkable show. As of today, a few national winners have been crowned so far and further details including the final venue have yet to be officially revealed. Miss International 2023 Andrea Rubio has returned home after winning the 61st Miss International competition on October 26 in Tokyo, Japan. The 24-year-old beauty who bagged her country's ninth Miss International crown received a special tribute and welcome in the variety program "Súper Sábado Sensacional" on Venevisión. Former Miss International winners from Venezuela, Edymar Martínez (Miss International 2015) and Mariem Velazco (Miss International 2018) also graced the show and fulfilled the tradition of handing out the Japanese doll to the new queen.
