Miss International Taiwan 2024 is Oceana Ling-Kurie


Reigning Miss Taiwan, Oceana Ling-Kurie, has been officially appointed as Miss International Taiwan 2024. She succeeds Anita Wang, last year's titleholder.

The 23-year-old actress and model, who was crowned Miss Taiwan 2023 in Taipei last December, will now represent her country at Miss International 2024.

Oceana is currently a graduate student at the National Taiwan Normal University's Graduate Institute of Performing Arts. According to Miss International, she is also an educator and a business consultant.

In a post on social media, she expressed her excitement to participate on the international stage. She wrote, "Looking forward to not only sharing my heritage but also exploring Japan alongside sisters from all over the world."

"After years of getting involved in pageantry, I've realized that such competitions are more than just showcasing individual achievements. They're also about learning from outstanding women with unique life experiences."

The 62nd edition of the annual Miss International pageant will be held on November 12 at the Tokyo Dome City Hall in Tokyo, Japan.

Miss Universe Haiti 2025 is Melissa Queenie Sapini

Melissa Queenie Sapini was officially crowned Miss Universe Haiti 2025 in a special ceremony held on Saturday, October 18 at The Palm Theater (Embassy Suites) in Boca Raton, Florida. The 22-year-old Haitian-American TV host will now prepare to represent Haiti at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this November. Miss USA 2025, the much-awaited 74th Miss USA pageant will be held on Friday, October 24 at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada. This year's competition marks the fourth occasion it will take place in Reno after 2019, 2022, and 2023. Also, this will be the first edition under the leadership of the new Chairman, President, and CEO, Thom Brodeur. The 26-year-old personal trainer and sports enthusiast from Valencia bested 35 other contestants to win the male beauty title. He succeeds Daumier Corilla from the Philippines.
