The Miss Supranational Organization has announced that the reigning queen Lalela Mswane is scheduled to visit Curacao this February. Lalela will be in the Dutch Caribbean island from February 16 to 23 as a special guest of the Miss Supranational Curaçao Organization in collaboration with the Curacao Tourist Board. During her stay, the South African beauty queen is expected to explore and showcase the beauty of the island and take part in the country's Carnival celebrations. South Africa's reigning Miss Supranational Lalela Mswane will touch down in Ho Chi Minh City on Monday, November 28 for her first-ever visit to Vietnam. The beauty queen will be the VIP guest at the Harper's Bazaar Star Awards 2022, an event celebrating the people and organizations who made outstanding contributions to Vietnam's luxury market. She will be opening the fashion show and walk for one of Vietnam's top fashion designers. Lalela will also be shooting for several top fashion magazines, including the cover of Harper's Bazaar Vietnam. In addition to attending the special event, she will be reunited with her second runner-up at Miss Supranational 2022, Nguyen Huynh Kim Duyen, and they will visit one of Kim Duyen's charitable projects during the week-long visit to the southeast Asian country. Miss Supranational 2022 from South Africa, Lalela Mswane, has returned to her home country two weeks after winning her international title in Poland. The 25-year-old arrived at OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg on Friday, July 29. She was warmly welcomed by her friends, family, acting CEO of Brand South Africa Sithembile Ntombela, and the Miss South Africa organizers. At a press conference, Lalela reiterated that her win was not only for herself but for South Africa as a whole. She reaffirmed her commitment to working harder than ever on her projects, which will be focusing on issues surrounding unemployment. "I’m simply at a loss for words," the newly crowned Miss Supranational 2022 said in a statement on social media the day after winning the glittering competition at Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Poland. Lalela succeeded last year's titleholder, Chanique Rabe of Namibia, after beating 68 other women during the 13th edition of the Poland-based pageant. Lalela Mswane from South Africa was crowned Miss Supranational 2022 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Poland on Friday, July 15. The 25-year-old law graduate and model who hails from Richards Bay in the KwaZulu-Natal province bested 68 other contestants from around the world to win her country's first Miss Supranational crown. She succeeds last year's winner from Namibia, Chanique Rabe. Praewwanich Ruangthong of Thailand was named first runner-up while Nguyen Huynh Kim Duyen of Vietnam finished second runner-up. The representatives from Venezuela, Ismelys Velásquez, and Indonesia, Adinda Cresheilla were the third and fourth runners-up, respectively. Completing the Top 12 were Colombia, Czech Republic, India, Kenya, Mauritius, Peru, and Poland. Miss Supranational 2022, the 13th edition of the Polish-based international pageant, is taking place tonight at Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Poland. The international competition kicked off this week with the arrival of contestants. They will go through a series of activities and preliminary competitions prior to the final on July 15 at Strzelecki Park Amphitheater. Selene Delgado, Jorge Eduardo Núñez, and Ismelys Velasquez were named winners during the Miss and Mister Supranational Venezuela 2022 competition which was held on Thursday, June 9 at Junín Theater in Caracas. A 26-year-old businesswoman from Guatire, Selene Delgado, was crowned Miss Supranational Venezuela 2023. She will represent Venezuela at Miss Supranational 2023. The title of Mister Supranational Venezuela 2022 went to Jorge Eduardo Núñez, a 24-years-old civil engineer and fitness athlete who competed in Mr World 2019. He will be sent to Mister Supranational 2022 in Poland this July. For Miss Supranational 2022, also in Poland this July, the national organization designated Ismelys Velasquez as representative. The Mister and Miss Supranational Nepal 2022 national competition was held at Soaltee Hotel, Kathmandu on Monday, May 30. Twenty contestants from over 100 applicants competed in the finals. They were challenged on fitness, talent, swimwear, and top model in the preliminary rounds. Sanish Shrestha, a 23-year-old cinematographer, was named Mister Supranational Nepal 2022 while Keshu Khadka, a 27-year-old dentist, clinched the title Miss Supranational Nepal 2022. The 25-year-old TV internship student and dancer bested over 50 other beauties to win the national competition. She will join Mister Supranational Spain Manuel Ndele, who won his title last year, in representing their country at the Miss and Mister Supranational 2022 pageants in Poland this July. Miss Supranational Malaysia 2022 is Melisha Lin

A 24-year-old model, Melisha Lin, was named Miss Supranational Malaysia 2022 after gaining the highest position in the overall fan vote last May 14. The Malaysian representative to the upcoming Miss Supranational 2022 competition in Poland this July, edged out another contender for the title, Vinthiya Vasu. Melisha holds a degree in marketing management from the University of Greenwich. She is expected to be crowned in a ceremony in Kuala Lumpur this June with the renowned actress and former Miss Supranational Malaysia Sanjna Suri as a special guest.
