Miss Supranational 2022 is South Africa's Lalela Mswane


Lalela Mswane from South Africa was crowned Miss Supranational 2022 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Poland on Friday, July 15.

The 25-year-old law graduate and model who hails from Richards Bay in the KwaZulu-Natal province bested 68 other contestants from around the world to win her country's first Miss Supranational crown. She succeeds last year's winner from Namibia, Chanique Rabe.

Praewwanich Ruangthong of Thailand was named first runner-up while Nguyen Huynh Kim Duyen of Vietnam finished second runner-up. The representatives from Venezuela, Ismelys Velásquez, and Indonesia, Adinda Cresheilla were the third and fourth runners-up, respectively.

Completing the Top 12 were Colombia, Czech Republic, India, Kenya, Mauritius, Peru, and Poland.

Bolivia, Brazil, Ecuador, Ghana, Guatemala, Hong Kong, Jamaica, Malaysia, Namibia, Philippines, Romania, and Trinidad and Tobago were the rest of the Top 24.

The new Miss Supranational is no stranger to pageantry. She won Miss South Africa 2021 and before getting appointed as Miss Supranational South Africa 2022, she went on to compete at Miss Universe 2021 pageant in Eilat, Israel last December where she finished as second runner-up.

Themed "Aspirational, Inspirational" the 13th Miss Supranational competition was held for the second time in the Małopolska region. This year's edition introduced a brand new crown crafted by renowned Mexican jewelry designer Ricardo Patraca.

Miss Nepal 2023: Meet the 24 contestants

Miss Nepal 2023, the 27th edition of the Miss Nepal pageant presented by Dabur Vatika will be held on May 27 at the Godavari Sunrise Convention Center in Lalitpur. Following rounds of auditions across all provinces of the country, a total of 24 contestants were officially sashed last March 31 by The Hidden Treasure Director Diwakar Rajkarnikar at Park Village Resort, Budalinkantha. Miss South Africa 2023 Top 30 contestants officially revealed

The Top 30 contestants vying to become Miss South Africa 2023 have been officially revealed on Wednesday, May 24 exclusively on the Miss SA App. From 30, only the Top 12, to be announced this June, will have the chance to move on to the finals whose date and venue have yet to be announced. Miss Ohio USA 2023 is Mackenzie Schutt

Miss Central Ohio, Mackenzie Schutt was crowned Miss Ohio USA 2023 in a state competition held on Saturday, May 20 at The Vern Riffe Center for the Arts in Portsmouth. The 27-year-old model and personal trainer from Columbus holds a degree in kinesiology and exercise science from Calvin University (formerly Calvin College) in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Mackenzie joined the pageant several times before finally winning the title. She succeeds last year's winner and Miss USA 2022 third runner-up Sir'Quora Carroll, and will now represent the state of Ohio at Miss USA 2023 in Reno, Nevada this fall. Her runners-up for the state title were finalists Emily Quinn, Macy Hudson, Katarina Putnick, Argisa Deda, and Allison Greenwood.
