Five national titles were at stake at the culmination of this year's Miss Czech Republic pageant that took place at Fórum Karlín in Prague on Saturday, May 7. Krystyna Pyszková, a 23-year-old model and student from Třince was named Miss Czech Republic 2022 / Miss World Czech Republic 2022. She succeeds Karolína Kopíncová and will now prepare to represent the Czech Republic at the 71st Miss World (Miss World 2022) later this year. Adéla Maděryčová (23), Kristýna Malířová (23), Mariana Bečková (23), and Karolína Syroťuková (20) clinched the titles Miss International Czech Republic, Miss Supranational Czech Republic, Miss Grand Czech Republic and Miss Intercontinental Czech Republic, respectively. They will be sent to the next edition of their respective international competitions namely Miss International, Miss Supranational, Miss Grand International, and Miss Intercontinental. The Concurso Nacional de Belleza Ecuador 2022 (CNB Ecuador) pageant was held on Saturday, April 30 at the Teatro Sánchez Aguilar in Samborondón. Miss Santa Elena, Annie Zambrano, was proclaimed Señorita Ecuador 2022 (Miss World Ecuador). The 22-year-old entrepreneur who is pursuing her bachelor's degree in languages will represent Ecuador at Miss World 2022 later this year. Another winner of the competition is Valery Carabalí who was named Miss Supranational Ecuador 2022. She will travel to Nowy Sacz in Malopolska, Poland to compete for the Miss Supranational 2022 title this July. Gabriela Andrade and María Paula López were proclaimed Virreina Nacional and first princess, respectively. Last year's titleholders Amar Pacheco and Justeen Cruz successfully relinquished their reigns to their respective successors at the end of the event. Miss Supranational 2021 Chanique Rabe arrived in Guayaquil, Ecuador earlier this week as a special guest in the upcoming CNB Ecuador 2022 (Concurso Nacional de Belleza) pageant. The Namibian beauty was also part of the panel of judges who are tasked to choose the next Ecuadorian representative at Miss Supranational 2022 in Poland this July. Miss and Mister Supranational Organization has officially announced today that the 13th Miss Supranational and the 6th Mister Supranational competition will return to the city of Nowy Sacz in Małopolska, Poland this June and July. “Last year, our contestants truly enjoyed the beauty of the spectacular landscapes of Malopolska in the summer as well as the warmth of the local people. During the Festival of Beauty, we enjoyed a variety of activities that we showed proudly to our global audience. María Fernanda Milián was officially announced as Miss Supranational Guatemala 2022 in a special coronation ceremony held last April 8. The 24-year-old beauty succeeds Jansodin Zuñiga who will not be able to represent Guatemala at Miss Supranational 2022 due to medical conditions. The second edition of the Miss Supranational Namibia pageant was held last Saturday, March 26 at the Sport Klub Windhoek (SKW) in Windhoek. Julita Kitwe Mbangula, a 26-year-old junior medical doctor was crowned Miss Supranational Nambia 2022 while a 3-year-old radio presenter from Windhoek, Jean-Louis Knouwds, was named Mister Supranational Namibia 2022. They will represent their Southern African country at the next Miss Supranational and Mister Supranational competitions in Poland this July. Gerhard Partzutka Von Lipinski, president of the Miss Supranational pageant, has released an official statement that Russia has been banned from participating in the Poland-based international pageant. The Miss Supranational Organization made the decision to join the countries, sports federations, and cultural events around the world that imposed sanctions on Russia due to its ongoing invasion of Ukraine. "We will not accept a contestant from Russia as we cannot condone the actions of the Kremlin," the organization said in a statement posted on social media. Ukraine has been a very special part of the Supra family since Oksana Moria won its inaugural competition in 2009 in Płock, Poland. Nguyen Huynh Kim Duyen has been officially announced to represent Vietnam at the Miss Supranational 2022 pageant in Poland. The 26-year-old business administration graduate from Can Tho was named Miss Universe Vietnam 2021 in May last year and recently joined the 70th Miss Universe competition in Israel where she placed in the Top 16. Miss South Africa Organization has officially announced that Lalela Mswane will be sent to the 13th edition of the Miss Supranational pageant. The 24-year-old beauty was crowned Miss South Africa last October in Cape Town. Miss Mexico Organization has officially announced Regina González Salman as Miss Supranational Mexico 2022 on Thursday, February 10 via social media. The 19-year-old is a graphic designer and student of industrial engineering and business innovation. She was previously designated as Miss Quintana Roo and competed during last year's Miss Mexico where she placed as first runner-up. Regina will now prepare to represent her country at the Miss Supranational 2022 pageant, possibly to be held this July in Poland. Miss Polski organization has officially announced its reigning queen Agata Wdowiak as Poland's representative at Miss Supranational 2022 competition. The 24-year-old model from Lodz was crowned Miss Polski 2021 in August last year and went on to compete at the 70th Miss Universe pageant in Israel. "I'm more than excited. Another international contest ahead of me," she shared on her social media account. Agata has a degree in business management and is currently studying Nanotechnology. Miss Supranational Germany 2022 title was won by Sabrina-Merlina Binder in a national competition held on January 7 at Potsdamer Platz in Berlin. The 24-year-old model and dancer from KwaZulu-Natal holds a bachelor's degree in law from the University of Pretoria. She succeeds last year's winner, Shudufhadzo Musida. Zimi Mabunzi and Moratwe Masima were named runners-up while Bianca Bezuidenhout and Jeanni Mulder completed the Top 5.
